Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in St. Catharines

I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent delivery experience I had with your Domino's store on Hartzel road I placed an order for delivery through your online system at approximately 08:12 pm on 09/06/2024 .When the delivery driver arrived, I attempted to pay with my credit card, but the driver informed me that the credit card machine was not functioning as it had been switched off. This was quite frustrating as I had no other means of payment available at that time.As a result, I was unable to receive my pizza, despite having waited for it. This not only left me and my two kids without dinner but also caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration. Given the reputation of Domino's for reliable and efficient service, this experience was highly disappointing.I was talked with manager on shift and he also not supported and asked us to wait for another delivery. I kindly request that you investigate this matter and ensure that all delivery drivers are equipped with properly functioning payment devices to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could consider compensating me for the inconvenience caused, perhaps through a refund or a discount on a...

I get carryout from here pretty often. The pizza is consistently pretty good (though nothing amazing, it has the same dominos recipe as any store) and reasonably priced with the coupons you can find for it on their website. The order is usually done well on time, and I've only ever had it late once and that was when it was insanely busy so it's understandable. I've never had an issue with them being wrong with my order either, the only time there was something wrong with it was once they ran out of beef for the pizza, which I had on my order. They tried to contact me to let me know beforehand but I unfortunately didn't answer the phone number I had provided at the time. The man told me about it when I got there and was quite friendly, offering me a dipping sauce for the pizza (which I turned down due to personal preference) and a soda (which I accepted) as recompense. The inside of the restaurant has always been pretty clean and well kept from what I've seen, and as of writing this, they have a perfect health inspection record with the city.

You really can't go wrong with ordering here. So long as you like Domino's, you'll be happy...

Although 5 seems high, It is more than a 'liked it' relationship. Dominos on Hartzel rd is all I can speak for but I do try to try foods from all the local places; that said Dominos will consistently cook its pizza enough, ALWAYS having wonderfully crispy pepperoni. Other Pizza places I have to tell them too cook it extra (and they never do the bastards) but Dominos seems to have the best working oven around this end of St.Catharines. Service is ridiculously quick for delivery. And I don't know anybody who works there or anything. I'd say its a 4.5 rating because it is far from perfect, but all the competition seems to be saving money by half cooking everything with a broken oven. Pete's Pizza on pleasant has them beat; but don't deliver out here ( meanwhile the other Pete's pizza's are like an inbred version of Pleasant's that play's dueling banjo's instead of cooking things right ) .. tbh I haven't tried the Petes on Queenston..
