Hot kitchen catered for my daughter's birthday party. the menu consisted of lime juice, chicken 65, egg puffs for starter, biryani for main course and tender coconut pudding for desert. The portions were enormous and we had leftovers which the guests put into ziplocs and took home with them. The guests loved it and we got a lot of compliments for the food. the biryani was authentic thalasery biryani with jeerakashala rice and the right amount of spice. The pudding was also just yum. We have been to a lot of south Indian restaurants but nothing beats Hot Kitchen. I really hope they maintain this quality in food forever. Apart from the catering experience, we often take out chicken 65 and alfam chicken. i wish they have an option to order thalasery chicken biryani in their take out even if for a higher price as sometimes when we order, we get the regular bland biryani of long grain which my family is not a huge fan of. This is merely a suggestion... but Thankyou Hot Kitchen for the amazing food and a memorable party...
Read moreWe have been customers of this restaurant since their old location at Harzel Road. When we were living in Niagara last year, we visited a few times and always had a good experience. Even after they moved to their new location, we continued to support them.
Now that we live in another city, we recently visited Niagara again with some friends and decided to take them to this restaurant, expecting the same hospitality and food quality. Sadly, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. The staff were extremely arrogant and treated us as if we were asking for free food. There was no courtesy or basic customer service — just a cold, dismissive attitude.
It’s really upsetting to be treated that way, especially as returning customers. No matter how good the food might be, the way you treat people makes all the difference. After this visit, we won’t be coming back — and definitely can’t...
Read moreWe visited the restaurant couple of times and had a worst experience from a staff named Annie. When we visited last week the service was excellent, the staff named Reena was very friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. But we previously had a disappointing experience. On that day, a staff member named Annie was unfortunately not customer-friendly. We just mentioned that the water didn’t taste right and asked for a different one, but her response was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. Rather than addressing our request politely, she chose to argue, which made us feel very uncomfortable and disrespected. Although she eventually provided bottled water in the end the interaction left a negative impression due to her poor attitude. We found her attitude to be quite rude and unwelcoming throughout...
