Buddy’s Pizza — Restaurant in St. Catharines

We tried Buddy's for the first time recently, (followed by a second time) and it is now my favourite pizza place in the Niagara region.

Pizza is hot and fresh, they offer a Chicago-style...and they don't skimp on the toppings either. My only complaint was that we paid extra to add bacon to our pizza, and they didn't put that topping on (we are 20 minutes away, so I wasn't driving back). Also, the wings weren't great, but we just won't order those again

We have been trying different pizza places in the area, and nowhere was amazing to us. We finally expanded our search to St. Catharines and decided to try Buddy's and I'm glad we did. Employees are always very nice, and your order is always ready when you arrive.

UPDATE: we recently placed an order online, and when we arrived they had no record of it. We shared the confirmation email, but this is a huge issue with their website that needs to be fixed so this doesn't happen to other customers. The team put our order through as a rush and threw in a cheese pizza, so kudos to them...

I’m actually sad about this review. What was once a great pizzeria, with easily the best Chicago pizza in town has dramatically fallen. Ordered delivery at 7.27pm on a Monday night, received confirmation at 7.28. I actually had to drive to the restaurant after the food hadn’t arrived an hour later and was unable to get through, negating the delivery. Arriving in the store to be greeted by a couple of kids eating toppings from the fridge (health warning for future patrons) and shocked by my presence. The phone was not in use and when I pointed out that it was turned off, the employee turned the phone on, which immediately began ringing (possibly customers also wondering where there food was). No food had been cooked and they stated no order was received. Owner called me back to apologize and offer a $20 discount of my next order. Very nice gesture, sadly I’m not sure I’ll be able to take advantage as I’m not sure there’ll be...

We have ordered from here a few times and it's average, but a good price. Today we ordered and they got the pizza wrong, and when ordering medium wings, we were given bbq instead.

When I called in about the error we were told that BBQ is their medium (when BBQ and medium are two separate menu options) and that in a half hour he would have someone call me back.

30 mins later someone called back to say I could drive back across the city to pick up more pizza that they messed up - rather than offering to deliver it to us, and nothing about the wings.
