MEZZANOS PIZZA, WINGS & SUB — Restaurant in St. Catharines

I’ve been nothing but a loyal customer to this pizza place, and never complained about the food because there was no reason too. But today I went in after school to get a slice and had to bring it back because of how old and stale it tasted. Thinking the owner would have been a bit nicer, he really wasn’t. He was very rude towards me and my mom, even though we came in with a good attitude not mad at anyone. He continued to yell at us as we tried to explain why we wanted a fresh slice. In our defence he had told us that the pizza had been sitting there since my schools lunch time at 11:25 and at the time it was 3:10. Disappointing Every Time I've given this place multiple chances over the years, but the pizza continues to disappoint. The crust is consistently dry, hard, and tough—more like something left out overnight than freshly baked. It’s not crispy, not warm, and definitely not fresh.

The amount of grease is overwhelming. There’s so much oil that even the crust is soaked—it’s honestly hard to believe how oily it is. It makes the whole experience unpleasant.

I would not even rate this a 1 star experience waited almost 2 hours for my delivery it came to me ICE COLD and all the owner had to say for himself was "if you don't want it send it back" HORRIBLE SERVICE! I would be disgraced to call myself a business owner handling a situation that way. Needless to say he can have his 2 hour old pizza back I'll call any other pizza shop and have my order within 40 minutes hot and fresh. Shame on this business keep in mind there are easily 60 other pizza shops people could call in the city don't waste your time with this...
