Disappointed about the cake

We tried different cupcakes and once we had lollipop cakes. Some cupcakes are absolutely too sweet, only a few are good. The lollipops are perfect! Because they do peanut free, we ordered 2 different types of cupcakes for school. They were tasty. Vanilla and Chocolate. This time not too sweet. So we decided to order a cake for the birthday party - Vanilla. We were happy that they could make it for the day we wanted it. I sent a photo how it should look like. We emailed about the taste, everything good so far. When I saw the cake, I was a bit shocked that it was that small. The design didnt please me too. Colours were good, but you weren't able to see that it should be a minecraft creeper's face. After the price of nearly 70 Dollars incl tax, I hoped it would taste good. BUT the buttercream was coloured sugar and was more like fondant than buttercream. This has nothing to do with buttercream at all! With every bite we crushed sugar pieces! Not even the kids liked to eat it. So sad. So disappointing. So much money wasted! I gave 2 stars because of the tasty lollipop cakes we had and the coconut cupcake was tasty. But all in all it's not worth...

We first met with The Frosted Cupcakes back in April 2018. Rhonda and Trudy were very friendly and very accommodating. We had them bake the cupcakes and our naked cake for our rustic winery wedding at Vineland Estates Winery. Trudy and Rhonda and the rest of her staff did such an amazing job with our cupcakes and our cake. Their set-up in our wedding was exactly how we envisioned them. They really took the time to pay attention to the details of the cupcakes and they coordinated our theme colors with them. The cupcakes and the cake were such a BIG hit and everyone loves them, especially the kids. Some even took them home so we had no left overs. Our ultimate favourite was the White Chocolate Blueberry Cheesecake!!! OMG - the best cupcake flavour ever! Our naked cake also tasted so fresh and so yummy. Thank you so much to Trudy, Rhonda and the rest of their staff at The Frosted Cupcakes for being a special part of our dream wedding. Also, thanks for looking after our beloved, Miko, as we had brunch next door. You guys went above and beyond. Love you guys and we'll definitely pay a visit whenever we visit...

My daughter and I were on a road trip to look for a very specific cake or cupcake. So we decided to visit this cute little shop. We were not shocked to here no we don't have that sorry (no one else had it either so no deductions in star power lol). So as I had a brief conversation with the lady who answered the door my daughter's wandering eyes caught a glimpse of these beautiful little display of popcakes then the question came as she drooled. Daddy can I have one please So no sooner did we get back in the car she shoved it in her mouth and it was gone like that. This review is not only based on the service I received but my daughter insisted on 5 stars because she said it was the best popcake she has had and for a 9 yr old her taste buds are pretty particular even though it is a dessert she is still very particular with her taste and honest sometimes too honest lol so thank you for adding a little sunshine to my daughters day by making such a great...
