Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in St. Catharines

We pre-ordered 4 meals for dinner yesterday because our kids were excited to support National Shawarma Day. We placed our order over an hour earlier and received a text saying our order would be ready for pickup at 7 pm. I live 15 minutes away and when I pulled into the parking lot, 10 minutes before 7pm, we received another text message saying that our order had been cancelled because the store was unable to fulfill the order. We were hungry and disappointed that more notice was not given. We do understand they were busy but to completely cancel our order shows poor organization. Regardless, I went in the next day to see if they would honour the order for the inconvenience. I explained they could charge me again. I would wait for the refund that was in process. Two of the meals were at regular price and 2 of the meals were $10 each for National Shawarma Day. They said they couldn’t honour the price. They ruined my friday evening. I ordered via UberEats meaning I want it delivered. It comes 40 mins later which is fine.

The shawarma itself was made so poorly I had to call them and let them know that whoever made it needs to stop and not make anymore orders they did such a bad job. I ordered a super chicken shawarma and they gave me toppings for a kids baby shawarma wrapped in 2 pita breads. Why so stingy? I asked for extra sauce and they took it as no sauce at all. Super dry and barely any toppings

It’s wrapped very loosely and falling apart. The guy on the phone told me to bring it in foe them to see. Sir do you think people who order ubereats want to go to places? How about you examine what you’re sending out the door.

Other locations do a much better job. Def no going back to them.
