Pete's Pizza — Restaurant in St. Catharines

This placed used to be my go to. I was recently reminded of it and how much I loved the bacon they use. I placed an order for a 12 slice pepperoni, a 12 slice canadian, 2lbs of wings and a garlic bread with cheese. $71 before tip When the order arrived the delivery person said she was supposed to notify me they included a extra 4 slice pizza because there was a issue with one of my pizzas I ordered. There was definitely a huge issue and the 12 slice canadian I ordered was disgusting. The bacon was huge chunks of pure fat, there seemed to be no sauce, the crust was paper thin and wet. Totally unedible. The garlic bread was a soggy mess yet nobody dared to even try it. The employees recognized the pizza was bad that's why they sent a free 4 slice but why? Why not send me what I paid for and remake the 12 slice. Why replace it with 4 slice and still send me the bad pizza?

The 4 slice pizza was great, the pepperoni pizza was great and just as I expected and same goes for the wings. How I got an order where half was so gross and the other half perfect is beyond me.

I reached out to the company by email and on social media. I emailed the email address listed by the company and received a reply stating they have nothing to do with the business and don't know why customers keep emailing them. I received a reply on Facebook that said "call Rino" with a phone number. I called a few times the next day and nobody ever answered. I've waited a week to see if anyone cared about the issue before leaving this review. The unprofessionalism and not making it right on a $70 order is what will have me never ordering...

Best in town by far my family only eats from this store..I grew up in merriton by pizza Jerry's old place and honestly they dont even compair to this place I drove across town to go there till I tried this pizza. I drive across town the other way when I live a half block from a diffrent Pete's I won't even waste my time trying other ones anymore

Every time I walk in the door with Pete's I get questioned were I got it from till they open the box and no because I have made the mistake trying diffrent places a few times and it doesn't go over well with my family

My opinion of messed up orders everyone will have them theres no way not to we are all human I got 1 out of the 100's of orders I've made and they made me feel great about them messing up lol and want it to happen more often honestly cause they fix you up with the write stuff plus throw in some extra and you wont go disappointed

I sent 20 people this way that order on the regular and its the same opinion I have

First things first, the food here is always consistently good . Eat here very often . This evening i placed an order through the “ dine niagara “ app , this is my second time using this and the first time was very easy ! Today i got confirmation via text message . As the order was pla about my day doing some chores , when i had looked back at my phone moments later i had missed calls from petes pizza , i called back immediately to someone picking up the phone and then hanging up on purpose . I figured it may have been a mistake , called back and then was purposely hung up on again . Moments later i received a text that my order was cancelled due to. “ order cancelled as requested by customer “ . Very very poor customer service in no way what i wouldve expected from this pizza joint that i have often frequented as i live in the area and the staff has always been super nice and tipped well .
