This is quite a sad review ad I have loved their food for years but sadly after today I will no linger be returning... 14$ for a veggie sub... I can get a gourmet fancy firehouse sub of the same size with more and better ingredients for the same price ... they said it was because meats so expensive... no meat on a veggie sub... all it is is a bun lettuce tomato onion mayo and mustard with cheese... maybe a whole 3$ of ingredients.... just abosulty pathetic how much they are trying to gouge their customers... lost a customer of 15 years because you decided to gouge your customers to the extreme...also if that's just for a veggie sub a sub with meat must be about 17$ whose going to pay 17$ for a sub with meat and basic toppings and just mayo... submissions subs 2 for 10$ more toppings and sauces and fresh as well , subway 10$ a sub the only place that charges as much is firehouse for their fancy gourmet subs. Your store is just trying to gouge every dollar you can from your customers... even from a bussiness stand point you'll just make things harder because you will have less people going to your store... I've told a few ppl already and they agreed they won't be returning... I'm sorry but just very disappointed... after 15 years you lost a customer for being far...

Today was my second visit. I got a submarine sandwich both times on my lunch break. They have so many European treats, including housemade, cold salads (macaroni, potato, and the best green coleslaw ever!), Polish donuts, amazing subs and sandwiches, a multitude of baked sweets, sausage rolls, European grocery items, and delicious iced tea and lemonade options.
Today, on my second visit, I decided to buy a frozen lasagna. I just ate this deliciousness a little while ago. Iām not exaggerating, but that was the most delicious frozen lasagna Iāve ever had. The prices are really reasonable too. 50+ years in business and I somehow missed it. Thereās just something about an authentic European bakery/deli that transports me to Kensington Market in Toronto in my mind. Itās magical.
My new lunch spot is officially locked in. I may be late to the party, but now Iāll...

They make the best buns in town ā soft, fresh, and full of flavour ā the kind that take any sandwich to the next level. Speaking of sandwiches, their Italian sandwiches are incredible: generous portions, perfectly balanced, and made with the freshest ingredients. And the desserts ā absolutely amazing! From their cannolis to pastries and cookies, everything tastes authentic and made with care.
The service is always friendly, and you can feel the pride and tradition in everything they do. Itās the kind of place where quality and community come together beautifully.
