I've been a Starbucks addict since before Starbucks was in this City. Same order every time used to be $5 Now almost $12. I was aware of Boycott but I kept on going. It's too expensive but I pre ordered every time and the people were nice. I found an old Starbucks Card and was going to toss it but kept and asked at my next $11.89 Latte. To my surprise the barista told me I had $25+ on the card they even gave me a printout. She told me how to get it added to my account when I got home. I tried several times with no success. So took printout and card to the same store that gave me the printout. BIG MISTAKE!! From trying to convince me that it was already applied to the Big Boss telling me it can't be done. Besides feeling stupid the situation got progressively worse with being told what they suggested can't be done. Wow, just WOW. I generally don't argue about $25. I suggested a "fix" but I was shut down I mean HARD NO. So how much does milk and espresso cost perhaps $3 bucks. How much does it cost to bring new people in that spend $12 every day...including Xmas where open. I think the new CEO was brought in to stem the tide of customers leaving because of how much it costs. I was OK with $12 Latte but not with $12 and no attempt to Solve the Problem. I need the new CEOs email. If I treated my loyal customers like this I would be replaced by a new CEO. I think even Disney hourly employees are empowered to solve $250 problems. I showed up at the store about 8-10 mins after I had ordered (for decaf they do pour over method) because I know decaf can take a few extra mins. My coffee took 20 mins, I had to keep reminding the staff to check on it for me and not one person acknowledged I was waiting or asked which order I was waiting for. Finally, my coffee was barely warm and didnāt have hardly any almond milk in it, when I had asked for extra. When she handed me a grande I explained that it was supposed to be a venti. Instead of apologizing she seemed annoyed with me and said āwell I rang it in as a grande so youāll have to pay and wait for me to remake itā to me this isnāt customer service.
