Update: Sent two emails like I was asked, no reply. Called the restaurant, was told the manager was not in, to leave them my name and number and they would call me back. Still nothing.
We just left this location, tonight the service was horrible I understand it was busy however. We were sat at a table. Waited about 15 min for anyone to take out drink order. By the time the server came over we had picked our food as well. So we placed both orders. Drinks took forever to come out, the app was not far after that. 3 of us shared it just to get something in ou stomach. While we waited we watched people leave, tables were left with dirty dishes, and half eaten food around us. The manger was not helping the staff , no was she out working the floor, saw her twice out back. The bartender (who was amazing) was clearing tables, bringing drinks, taking food to the tables. After while a few groups came in , they were there about 15-20min and they got there food. That was where my husband and I had enough and after waiting an hour and seeing people who came in after us get their food I asked for our drink Bill as we wanted to leave and go grab some fast food. Magically our food came right out. Again by the bartender assisting the server. My husband's steak was supposed to be med rare it was well done , mine and my daughter's food was a tab over cooked but we didn't care and ate it. As for the atmosphere... The AC either wasn't working or not on as it was so hot in there. The servers were sweating and fanning themselves. Again the manger did nothing to support her team, she only came out to help one customer who was upset with her food. Other than. That nothing. The bar was left unattended as the bartender was busy. We were greeted at the very small entry way. We were told it’d be about 25 minutes for a table, which was to be expected with a brand new restaurant, as well as because it is rather crammed into its location. After waiting for a few minutes, it was apparent that there were multiple tables that were not being used, and were not going to be used. For some reason they were not filling all the tables. Waited another 7 or so minutes to get sat by the manager. No server name was given, and it took another 5 minutes for someone to come take our drink order, and that someone was a different manager, not our actual server.
Once we were helped out by about 5 different employees and received our drinks, our hopes were not high for dinner. However, things improved from that point on.
It took 13 minutes from the time we place our order to the time we received our food. I ordered the big chuck burger. The patties were a little too charred, but it still tasted better than most burgers in town. My girlfriend steak was cooked well, but the corn was poorly done. Dessert was amazing for $5. Huge portion and tasty.
I would recommend going here at least once to change things up. Hopefully they get into a better rhythm as a team and I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because it’s a brand new place with what seems to be a lot of employees new to the restaurant business. And hopefully the menu can get expanded a little in the future. I know of other “Chuck’s” that...
Read moreFirst i would like to say our server was excellent, I ordered a peppercorn steak medium well, it arrived and was medium rare, more rare then medium rare, Kate asked how was everything was, I point out the steak was very under cooked, she agreed and took it back to be cooked more, 10 minutes later she brought it back to the table and I asked her to stay while I cut into the steak. It was the same as it was before she took it back to he kitchen, she was very nice was apologized for the kitchen staff and said she would take it back again. At this point she offered a free dessert which is nice, again 10 minutes later, my spouse was almost done her meal before I was started. This time the steak was black and like charcoal, at this point I just refused it, our server then offered to take 25% off my steak. I then ordered a dessert that had ice cream on it and was told sorry our freezer broke and they had no ice cream, now chuck's is batting a thousand and at that point I was offered a gift card for my meal and I said ok and thanked our sever, like I said she was very attentive. So she left and came back and apologized again saying there were no gift cards in the safe, then asked for my phone number and told us the manager would contact me on Monday, today is Wednesday and nothing. We thanked our server and tipped her as everything that happened was not her fault, she did everything she could possibly do.
