Buzz Bites — Restaurant in St. Thomas

My friend and I went for lunch for the first time and we're absolutely amazed! The fresh sautéed vegetables, cooked to order crispy chicken breast, perfectly steamed rice, and absolutely delicious sauce options left us wishing we had room for more! I ordered a regular size crispy chicken bowl and I ended up being too full to finish it, so a takeout bowl was needed. My friend ordered a large crispy chicken bowl and he ate all of his eagerly! It was so good we can't wait to visit again. Our only dilemma will be whether to order the same thing or to try one of the other gourmet options. The prices are more than fair for the portion sizes along with the fresh vegetables and made to order food you receive! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. You can dine in or take out, and I seen a skip the dishes sign on the door as well. The atmosphere is pleasant along with the staff whom are super friendly and smiling. She even asked us for any input we potentially had in case any improvements could be made. How do you improve on something that good? When the choices are yours the flavor outcome becomes as personal as it gets! I would give this lovely gem of a spot 100 stars if that was an option! My review is long overdue. Life got in the way and now scrolling through my pictures I realized oh no I forgot to write a review after being here two weeks ago. I had such a nice experience here that I want to spread the word about how great this spot is. The Owner and I got to chat and her cook and they are both very welcoming and friendly. They have a lot of passion for the restaurant. The Owner gave me a few taste test samples of her sauces which she created, which is incredible. They all tasted so good it was hard to decide. I had like four sauces on my bowl and I loved all the flavours. I really love the infusion of honey in the sauces. It’s such a great idea and so delightful on the taste buds. Had dinner last night at a new place. It was fantastic. We had one of their bowls, chock full of chunks of crispy chicken, sautéed vegetables and rice topped with one or two of their tasty sauces. My husband had the grilled chicken and said it was awesome too. They also offer wraps and sandwiches (which are huge). Prices are reasonable -about $30 for the two of us and I brought half of mine home. All meals are infused with the goldon goodness of sustainably sourced honey. You have got to eat here at BUZZ BITES, 771 Talbot St (formerly Hammersley's Fish & Chips). Take out or they have a few tables if you prefer to eat in. The owner Rhonda is very nice.
