Starbucks — Restaurant in Stony Plain

Edited for update (2022): Did I mention I was excited they opened in Stony Plain? Well, I was so excited that now they know me as well as my husband by face and name. I absolutely adore the folks here!

A few times someone new and in training makes my coffee and messes it up slightly, but they have ALWAYS made it right again. I have mobility issues and one time my coffee was not good. I also had a migraine. One of the employees (Sharon) brought me the replacement coffee! Now THAT is dedication and love! I made sure to let corporate know what a gem they have there.

I am quite particular about good quality customer service. I also believe customers should give what they’d like to receive. I have never had any issues here in that way. The customer service has been superb! Bravo for great management/ownership!

Came through drive through first thing Sunday morning for a coffee and oat bar. My two year old is sick which is actually why we're up in the part of the province, for a doctor's appointment on Monday (it's not terminal or anything tragic he just has a bad cold). I put him in the car seat in the front seat so he could be close to dad. Pleasant exchange as I order etc. they smile and wave at my son and tell us to have a good day. Then I get a call from the RCMP.. because I had our son up front. I find that quiet upsetting. What a fake exchange... this exemplifies what is wrong with our society and call out culture. I get a fail for not knowing that is actually illegal, but you folks get a fail for throwing a father some unnecessary trouble first thing Sunday morning.

My coffee was good though. The oat bar is too sweet for me.

FWIW the police officer called and after determining I'm not a delinquent graciously concluded the exchange with a friendly warning.

Since I don't do many reviews ... I'll keep going. Starbucks star system keeps getting worse. It's harder to earn stars and you get less for them as time goes on. Good maneouvering for profits. Bad for me and the other...

My husband came here to get us Frappes, and I typically only come to this Starbucks. Whoever was on today, made our frappes terribly wrong. The bottom was straight liquid and the whip somehow floated into the middle- or the whip was never made on the bottom. I’m pregnant and Starbucks is a regular craving for me but we likely won’t come back to this location after the horrendous frappes, and the reaction of the barrista when I called to let them know. She was condescending when I called and responded “mhmm, thanks for letting us know.” If I was in that position, I would ask, how can I make this right? Especially being repeat customers, we’re thoroughly disappointed with how terribly these were made and the service provided after. I came last night around 8:25pm, and whoever made the frappe was on point with how they made it. We were so happy, especially when we order extra toppings and they deliver, that also didn’t happen today. Whoever was on shift at 4:45pm today making frappes needs to be retrained on...
