Subway — Restaurant in Stony Plain

Interesting past reviews about cheese. I ordered a spinach salad with 2 slices of white mozza cheese, cucumbers and pickles. Nothing else. Asked for some shredded cheese and the woman said it would be extra. Really?? I had hardly any toppings on my salad as it was. It didn't even fill the bowl up entirely. My boyfriend ordered a salad as well...loaded for the same price and the lid hardly fit on it but I'm going to get charged extra for some shredded cheese?? We told both staff members to put the extra cheese on or we would walk out and do a google review. The guy said go ahead. So we left without our salads which would have cost them more then some shredded cheese. They better learn how things work here in Canada! We went down the road to Spruce Grove and they filled our order with no issues. We asked if we were being charged for extra cheese and they said no. Power tripping gets you no where in this country. To be honest as subway locations go, of which there are MANY this is one of the better ones I've ever been too. A little more spacious and larger inside than most, which is nice for when it's busier. It's always been very clean and well kept.

The employees of course, are always to few people working for what I'd call a steadier busy location, and they 3nd up juggling and multi tasksing a bit too much which isn't their fault, and their very efficient given the work load they have most times

The portions and Toppings they put on are generous enough that this is the only one where I've never had to tell them to keep adding more of anything. The bread is always fresh and not crusty. ALSO, it's one of the few locations where not once have they ever been "out" pf anything, including soups and cookies. The saff here are always on top of their game for television work...

The person at the beginning of the line(I didn't catch his name) was SO rude. I've gone twice now, thinking maybe the first time he was just having a bad day. Nope. He doesn't give you any time to think, is completely rude to everyone. The first time I ordered a salad and soup, these were his exact words... "are you going to have a sandwich or not". There were two younger girls next to me ordering sandwiches, and he bit their heads off too. I've worked in the customer service industry and that is NOT good customer service. I'm sorry but if you're that miserable it's time to find a new job. holy crap.That is completely unacceptable. Someone needs an attitude adjustment. Smile once and a while. promise...
