We've been going to this location since it opened. Today I brought my daughter in for a special breakfast. We were quickly seated by the hostess. I already knew what I wanted before I got there, so I was ready to order right away. I asked my server if she would substitute my eggs for some fruit (which I've done each time I've eaten at any stacked location) because I cannot eat eggs. She seemed perturbed at my request and said no because "it's not on the screen and we can only give you what's on our screen.". Just say you don't want to do something - It would be less words. She checked in on us once for our entire visit and never once offered to bring us water while we waited or during our meal. My coffee was refilled once during our time by someone who wasn't even our server. When I went to pay with cash, our server seemed very dissatisfied with the small tip I gave her that she didn't even earn. I think I'll stick to going to Listowel location as this one has gone down hill. Also, please remind your staff about hygiene. I understand we all come from different cultures, but smelling very strong BO while eating is truly offensive. I would've said all this to my server, but she did not build up any sort of repport that I felt comfortable mentioning my concerns. Food was ok, but nothing to write home about. I also witnessed the staff drop food and water on the floor and not clean it up right away. They just kept walking over it until someone dropped a napkin on the liquid and kicked the piece of toast under the service desk. I also saw my server touch the order screen which looked dirty and then proceeded to touch my plate without...

Thank you for taking the time to address my review. To clarify, there was no miscommunication. Our waitress explicitly stated that if our table wanted a discount card, we would need to leave a five-star review and show it to her before leaving. We also observed other diners being asked to do the same.
Although I found this off-putting, I still chose to leave a three-star review at the time, as I felt the restaurant deserved recognition for what it did well. However, after reading your response, I have revised my rating to one star. Please take accountability for your business practices and staff going forward.
Best regards,
Solid choice for a simple, reasonably priced breakfast. The food is consistently good, with their hash, pancakes, and omelettes being standout options. Service is friendly and efficient, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Like any restaurant, they have their off days, but that’s never been enough to deter my family from returning.
The one thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was their recent promotion offering customers a $10 discount in exchange for a five-star review. While I understand businesses want positive feedback, this felt dishonest -- good reviews should be earned, not bought. It won’t stop me from coming back, but I don’t appreciate the practice.
Overall, if you’re looking for a no-fuss breakfast spot with good food and service, Stacked is a reliable choice. Just take their online ratings with a...
Read moreFood is great here, they have a lot of different items besides just regular breakfast items, different kinds of pancakes and hashes, a pulled pork hash if you wanted even, food quality is decent and never bad quality
The service is amazing, never had issues getting a server to notice us, and they usually are fast to taking orders and asking your preferences, usually telling you the best deals or new items to come out, and with a smile and utmost respect
Atmosphere is average at best, sometimes restaurant has the same playlist of songs playing over and over, seats are usually comfy but mostly wooden chairs, unless you’re trying a booth, the staff are friendly so it adds to liveliness of the place, a decent breakfast place to relax and enjoy
Most people come here over and over and never seen disappointed, I think the best thing about the restaurant is the food and the drinks, whether you want burgers or sandwiches or breakfast food, the good times are always available in this restaurant.
Wheelchair parking spots are close by and eat to enter restaurant, they do have washrooms to use and lots of space for customers to get a spot to sit and eat, prices are usually cheaper considering what you get, an average cost between 2 people is around 34-40$. Portion sizes are decent as well....
