came in for a wing night, there were 3 of us, we sat down wasent to busy mabey 7 to 10 tables, got our drinks, and our order while 3 other tables were comming in, so we get our wing order in, when waitress come back to our table 20 min later to tell us she could not make the flavor honey mild wings, so i said ok changed the flavor. the table that came after us sat down ordered and is now receiving their wings, and so is one of the other tables after us. we are still waiting for ours. so another half hour after we were told that we couldent have that flavor, waitress comes back to our table and says sorry we dont have any more wings left, we had been there now for about 1.5 hrs waiting on food, 2 other tables served after us and now only 4 lbs of wings were left. they asked if we wanted the boneless wings, we are now fed up and left, and the waitress excuse is it was to busy and only 2 waitress to keep up for the 10 tables that were there. i asked why 2 other tables were able to get wings that sat down after us and if she forgot to put her order in and she said no it was put in before the other table, yet they recived wings and we didn't. we were there for about 2 hrs, got no food. we went to strath more station instead, sat down within half hour we had wings and were starting to eat, and were in and out within an hour and they were packed. this is now the 3rd time i have had issues at this establishment.
Responce: We were definitely there for more then 20 min, so why would 2 other tables that came before us get there wings when we ordered first, if it dident take 20 min from ordering to tell methe flavor change we would have had no issues, but your server was slow, so the wings i had ordered went to the 3 people beside me who ordered after. And yes i was given the option to go boneless, and we have went down that route before and pretty much got cut up chicken strips so we decided that we didn't want that again, so went to a place that we cound provide chicken wings and not slow service. I double checked and we got there at 6 pm, and left 7:30 cause we timed how long station would take so not quite 2 hours, but an hour and a half, still not acceptable for not even getting fed, Hour and half to be told we have no more wings? Sorry, correction had 4lbs left...
Read moreI really wanted to give this place 5 stars. They did pretty good with the place that used to be Humpty's. Its more open and clean and lots of TVs, they have COVID glass in place and the staff have masks. The staff is very friendly and prompt service! The reason I can't give them top marks is the promo they had: all you can eat wings and ribs for $20. It was written like that and the waitress also said it as "wings and ribs" so both my date and I ordered it thinking it's wings and ribs. The plate we got was really large, itself was worth $20. However the plate had wings and drumsticks that were like twice the size of regular wings, and dry ribs, all coated with the sauce of our choice. The plate was huge and on it's face was a pretty good value, except the food didn't meet expectations. The wings were not cooked enough (probably due to the size of them). Not regular bar and grill style wings. The sauce was good, but neither of us really enjoyed them. The dry ribs were almost over cooked. Personally I liked them, but my date was expecting "ribs" not these tiny hard to eat riblets. And there's only so many dry ribs you can eat until your jaw hurts. Also you can't order more until you "finish your plate" enough for them to judge you worthy, but in reality you don't want any more once the plate is clean. This is my experience, YMMV. I figure if they would use correct sized wings and actual ribs, and lower the portion size, it would be a good promo and I would be back. Or at the very least be forthcoming about them not being "ribs". And before you say "well you should have asked", no not when "wings and ribs" is almost an industry standard offering, where other places like Montana's offer the same all you can eat wings and ribs and it's real ribs. Pie was...
Read moreI came in for dining on Saturday, May 3 around 2:30pm. I was meeting my girlfriend for lunch that day who was visiting from calgary she happened to get there before I did. The minute I walked inside the restaurant the vibe was horrendous. I felt judged the minute the waitress walked over. Young waitress who claims she only works weekends here she really needs a talking to about her attitude. I came and found my girlfriends table on my own; once the waitress came over to the table no smile no greeting nothing but rude Snyde remarks like do I know what I want to order, rude attitude. She took one glance at me and my girlfriend and decided she wanted to be nothing but rude. My girlfriend has a strict diet she has to follow because she's been having health problems and can't have gluten when I had asked what kind of options they have for gluten free she didn't give much details about it when my girlfriend was asking about French fries what kind of oil was used the girl was snappy and rude said she had no idea and wasn't very helpful with any suggestions. When my girlfriend ordered a gluten free bun brisket she had asked there to be no bacon in her ceasar salad as she can't eat bacon due to her religious beliefs. Her overall attitude really made our outing a very bad experience. I do not appreciate how my girlfriend and I were treated. We were literally the only ones in the restaurant. Whether you hate your job or not is not my problem and you should really seriously change your attitude. I will never step foot in this...
