Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Strathroy-Caradoc

Edit* The store has reached out to me since and has been wonderful. I changed my review to 5 overall, still 4 for the pizza, but that’s not on the store or its owner, pizzas today were, as usual perfect crust, toppings were good quantity, I just don’t like the new bacon, I’m sure many others will though.

Original* I need to preface this review by saying the it is not a reflection of the Strathroy staff, they are the nicest people you can imagine, they are always friendly and polite and are working very hard whenever I’m in there. I will continue to order from this location whenever I want a quick meal to pick up on the way home from work (I actually live much, much closer to 2 other locations, but they aren’t near as good as Strathroy).

I ordered 4 pizzas (everyone in my house always wants something different) mine had sausage and extra bacon, it comes in strips now, which I wasn’t aware of (probably said somewhere and I didn’t see it, my fault) but my medium pizza only had the equivalent of 4 broken strips of bacon and the large pizza had about 6. Maybe that is extra bacon now that it’s strips and not crumbles, but does that mean regular bacon is 2 strips on a medium 3 on a large? That seems like very little.

The crust at the Strathroy location is better than all other locations always cooked perfectly! 4 stars because the toppings are getting a bit less in amount than what they used to be, reminds me a bit of the old Dominos. Even the veggie only pizza had very few green peppers and mushrooms, lots of onion though. Lots of black olives on the other pizza but not a lot of pepperoni.

I’m not blaming the store or staff, they are awesome, maybe that’s just how it is now and I expect too much. Maybe it’s an effort to combat cost in the face of rising food costs and they’d prefer to lessen the toppings rather than increase cost.

The employees (minus the delivery drivers) are underaged, incompetent and unprofessional. Not to mention they do NOT and CANNOT follow customer instructions with their orders. It appears they choose to do the complete opposite or mash together whatever poor excuse for a "pizza" that they want and shovel the heaping pile of Italian sewage into a box and fire it off to the customer. The lack of proper hygiene is beyond unimaginable! For instance, (from personal observations) seeing numerous employees on their cell phones during their shift, NOT washing their hands after touching their mobile device and then continue to make pizza slop, with NO regard for the health of their customers! It's also disgusting to witness the employees use the company telephone, cash register and grossest of all to see them wipe bodily fluids on their hands (snot, mucus, sweat..etc) and NOT wash their hands! 🤢🤮 I comprehend that their employees are youth and/or new migrants to Canada, but personal hygiene, work place hygiene, proper customer service and loss of negative workplace attitudes will go a long way and bring in more customers, instead of driving them away to the...

Would give this Domino’s Pizza in Strathroy a zero if I could. Placed an order online at 4:49pm for my father who has a medical condition. I don’t live close by and wanted to treat him to a pizza for the holidays. I checked online to see if it was delivered and it said it was. My dad called me a half hour later and said the pizza never arrived. I called Domino’s and they said it was probably delivered to the wrong address. They said my dad had the option of driving to the address they wrongly delivered it to and picking it up - What??? or place a new order. Absolutely ridiculous. Asked them to make a fresh pizza and deliver it as soon as possible. They said they would handle it. An hour later, no pizza. Called again and Domino’s had no idea where the pizza was. They gave the option of cancelling the order or reordering yet again. My dad had nothing ready for dinner and was looking forward to a pizza. So after waiting 3 hours he finally got the pizza. He takes medication that depends on when he eats and this Domino’s fiasco really messed him up. Will never order from Domino’s in Strathroy again....
