Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Strathroy-Caradoc

We've ordered from here a couple of times using the Skip the Dishes app. Our orders have been packaged very well so the bread doesn't get soggy and we've had no issues with leaking sauce or dressing. We've ordered pickle spears as a side and not only could one make a MEAL out of those DELICIOUS pickles but again they're packaged and packed well so the pickle juice is contained and doesn't ruin everything else in the bag.

The subs (always one veggie and cheese, one meat) are made with quality, fresh ingredients. The toppings are plentiful without being too much; afterall it's a sandwich and I want to be able to hold it to eat it without sauce and toppings falling out and making a mess. If you're someone who enjoys putting chips in your sandwich for a crunch, try the crispy onions on your sub! They add an awesome crunch without a pungent onion taste.

The little touches too like the staff labelling the subs and putting a happy face or writing "thanks" are very simple but yet meaningful customer service.

I come here often, and I never had any problems with anything. They have the best deals on uber eats and on their app which includes free subs for every 10th order, BOGO free subs, and free birthday sub. I came here for the free birthday sub recently, and I got a little bonus on that sub at this location! The lady that makes the sub is very friendly and takes her time to make the sub perfect!!!!!!! Mr. Sub is the best place for free birthday food for your birthday, so I highly recommend signing up to their subscription/app for a yearly free sub, which is better than any other birthday deal in Strathroy. The only thing they could add is more tables inside the the place but that is forgivable because Mr. Sub is located inside the gas station and there is a wooden picnic table outside the gas station where you can eat if you need to set down. I hate leaving negative reviews but this sub was bad. Easily the messiest I've ever had. It was drowned in sauce (even though I asked for a little bit), the bread was beyond stale and I was told that it was "impossible" to toast it. When I asked why it was impossible I was just simply reminded that it was impossible ( I'm assuming because of how messy it was). I reluctantly paid and kept my mouth shut as the employee was friendly enough. I like Mr Sub, and have even enjoyed Strathroy's location in the past, but I won't be back until it improves.
