Yaki's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Summerland

Hands down the worst Pizza I've ever had in my life! The crust was dense,flat,and salty. Pizza sauce tasteless. The toppings tasted like cheap deli meat and slid right off the pizza when I picked up a slice. Not sure how it's possible but even the breadsticks were disgusting. Overall taste was worst than the cheapest frozen pizza you can find. The only reason we bought here is because Prima pizza was not open....never again will I make that mistake I'll have a peanut butter sandwich or a pizza pop for that matter before I ever eat that again! Prima is the only place to get Pizza in town, if by chance there is some reason Prima is closed stay home eat a sandwich do not waste your money on the CARDBOARD PIZZA from Yaki's...... It's called Yaki's because it's so gross it...

I’m from out of town and saw the high reviews and decided to try this place. I Ordered the 10” tropical paradise. Crust was good, but not enough sauce and the sauce was lacking flavour, which is what I’ve heard others say. Overall the pizza wasn’t super tasty and I kind of wish I had gone to A&W. $21 for a mediocre personal pizza is a bit pricey. I ordered ranch on the side and I’m glad I checked the box before I left, as none had been put in there. I’d maybe go back and try a sub, but not sure I’d order pizza here again. I’d give a 2.5 star rating but google doesn’t do half points and I was happy to see them selling cookies with 100% proceeds going to a charity, however it didn’t specify which charity, which would be good for customers to know who they are...

Why people bother with chain sandwich shops anymore boggles my mind. Places like this are rare and should be the only option for sandwiches. I had a yakis sub, which I found delicious and fair priced (in this economy anyway). What I enjoyed more was the fun interaction I had with the staff. Both of them were young but casual and fun while staying professional. Made it feel more like a place you knew already when you haven’t been before. It also makes me glad to see the local youth being employed in these establishments. This isn’t a sit down restaurant though. This is a grab and...
