I went to the Tims/Wendys on Granville St Nov 19 2018 around 2pm. After getting a coffee I sat on the Wendys side of the restaurant. During my stay a female worker from Wendys was mopping the floor around the wendys side of the restaurant. It was noted by me and other customers that the worker was leaving the floor extremely wet. The worker was using floor signs. At one point a customer mentioned to the person washing the floor that the floor was too wet. The customer then showed the worker how to properly dry the mop so as to be able to pick up the excess water. The employee immediately left the area and never returned to correct the issue. Some customers expressed their displeasure whereby I went to the Wendys counter and asked for a supervisor. I advised them that the floors were too wet and constituted a hazard. I went back to my seat to see if any action would be taken. I waited over 30 min and no one addressed the issue. Customers around me still were concerned. I went back to the Wendys counter and requested the GM. I spoke to a female and asked why the issue was never corrected.( no one from Wendys went out to inspect the issue regarding the wet floor. I asked why it was not addressed and the GM stated that she spoke to the worker. I was beside myself that there was no concern for customer safety AT ALL. The "GM" then took it upon herself to berate me regarding me being mad. This is inexcusable. I was just reporting a genuine concern and got flipped off. I left very mad at this point. I was gobsmacked to...
Read moreUnbelievable customer service at Wendy's Summerside. Disrespect from staff. "I recently visited Wendy's Summerside and unfortunately, the service has gone downhill over the past few years. The cleanliness of the floors and counters is very poor. When I place my order I was told in a extremely rude way to stand over there, it shock me at first because I thougt she must be talking to someone else because of the disrespectful way she was speaking. The employee spoke to me extremely disrespectfully, and when I pointed this out, her response was, 'That's my culture, I speak to people the way I want.' When I brought this to the manager’s attention, he spoke to her of course she denied it that she had said it that way, when I didn't back down from her saying that she said it that way thats when she said it's her culture , but the experience left a very negative impression. I hope they take steps to improve their service and cleanliness." Always check your order as well you'll always be missing something from your order. Over price for cold food and terrible customer service. It doesn't matter what culture you come from treat people...
Read moreWe tend to go to Wendy's often as we travel alot with teenagers. Sometimes service is great but my last few experiences at Granville street Wendys in Summerside have not been good. One evening we waited in line for 20 minutes as there was only 5 of us it seemed kinda strange. The man and teens behind us left. Today I ordered poutine for my son. The whole bag of cheese curds was stuck in one big lump in the corner of the dish. Since I work at a restaurant that uses cheese curds on poutine I thought I would mention to the staff that they r supposed to be broken up and spread over the fries. Who I assume was the manager said no we can't touch them. I said break them in the package but he was very rude. I have no problems with Wendy's but I heard this guy talking to the staff and he was very very rude. I felt sorry for them upon leaving. It's not just about cheese curds. It's about treating your staff and customers...
