Chopped Leaf — Restaurant in Surrey

I’m a regular customer at Chopped Leaf, and ever since I started ordering, I always go for either Coke Zero or Iced Tea Zero because I’m diabetic. But today, they gave me a regular Coke. I was really disappointed, so I called the store right away.

At first, the person I spoke to denied that they made a mistake. But I told them I’m not stupid I can read, and it clearly says regular Coke on the label. The employee I spoke with showed zero empathy. Not even a single apology. Instead, they got defensive and told me that “everyone is still learning.”

I understand that people go through learning phases, but messing up something as basic as a drink order especially for someone with a medical condition is not something you can just excuse with “we’re still learning.” First of all, reading a label isn’t rocket science. Second, as a staff member, it’s their responsibility to double-check the order before sending it out for delivery.

Went to eat with my friend today. I said to omit rice and more greens but the same greens as the original. When we were done I noticed that there was no fita bread so I asked the counter and she said they ran out of fita breaf. I will appreciate if they will notify us ahead rather than I asked. I really appreciate the Chopped Leaf shares their ingredient lists online and in person. (The dressing ingredients are only available in person. The ingredient lists in person didn't include the soups.) It would be nicer for sensitivity purposes if they were to declare their spices for every dish, but they do for most.
