Burger on a diet…

I saw this place opened up in the new plaza on 104th avenue. I believe the last time I been to a Fatburger was about 5 years ago?

This fatty joint was pretty easy to spot and there were plenty of parking spaces. The interior was freshly furnished, feels like most Fatburger places.

Here were the food I ordered;

CB deluxe combo (added fried egg). It was okay, always like to add a fried egg to my burger. Personally I would prefer uncut lettuce over shredded lettuce. All combos come with bottomless fountain pop, I didn’t know that. Side of gravy. Very generic but I prefer any gravy over ketchup. Hawaiian cheese burger (added fried egg). It was okay but could be even better if the pineapple slice was seared a bit more. 6 buffalo wings. The wings were okay, very southern style buffalo style flavour with that aroma, however it was a bit dry. (Yeah looked a bit off from the menu picture).

This place has a very causal atmosphere with a sense of cleanliness which is good. All orders are placed and paid at the counter, given a number and when the food is ready the staff brings the food to you.

The staffs here were friendly and informative of the food when brought out.

As for the food, the burgers were pretty stacked and the rest of the food was okay but certainly has room for improvement. Nevertheless, A LOT better than the Gordon Ramsay burgers I had (when Ramsay feature his burger joint on Restaurant Nightmare, I want to stuff my face with Fatty burgers in the background).

Anyways, I think I tried out most of the burger joints in the lower mainland already except for Manzo burger, but needed to work off this Fatty...

Surprised to see, Actually shocked to see VEGETARIAN patties and BEEF patties Getting prepared on the same flat-top grill plate.

damnn guys You need to be careful N get serious about what you're doing People can get sick

Vegetarians gonna be so mad.

you say the patties are FRESH fresh ? Like every morning you get fresh ground beef ? N prepare patties ??

It Just seemed like another McDs basics

Couldn't feel the freshness TBH

I for-real had to make a sandwich after i got home to satisfy my desire for a good burger 😐

Maybe Bacon Cheddar wasn't the best option to go for

Hard to believe the Meat comes in fresh every day n nothing at all is frozen

I am a sucker for burgers and have tried so many food trucks in LA N probably all burger spots in SanFran bay area California

I am glad I was alone n not with my girl coz she's a pure vegetarian and would have thrown up eating your food

The oils definitely mix For god's sakes Its one flattop griddle

Don't be cooking vegetarian patties next to Beef patties

We had a fantastic experience at Fatburger today! The atmosphere was great—clean, welcoming, and relaxed. What truly made our visit exceptional was the lady manager on duty. From the moment we walked in, she noticed us right away and greeted us with a warm smile, even though she was clearly busy handling other orders.

Despite the rush, she took our order promptly and made sure everything was perfect. Her energy was amazing—always smiling, jolly, and genuinely friendly. She even delivered our food personally, offered free refills, and kindly helped us throw away our trash. Her level of attentiveness and care was above and beyond—absolutely the best customer service we’ve experienced in a long time!

Big shoutout as well to the kitchen staff—the food was delicious and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. Everything came out hot, fresh, and just the way we ordered.

It’s unfortunate we didn’t get the manager’s name, but she and the whole team deserve serious recognition. Fatburger is lucky to have such dedicated and friendly staff. We’ll definitely be...
