Hjorth Road Park — Attraction in Surrey

I love this park because it's a great place to go for a picnic or a barbecue and has a nice little playground that my child really loved.

It has a beautiful pool that is free to go swimming at. Which has a diving board, and it is an amazing place to have a nice cool swim in the Sun. We play scheduled softball games on Sundays. Beautiful green park, restrooms are fairly clean, however they haven't unlocked them yet for May which makes it hard when the kids are present. Parking is limited during the weekend as the pool and sporting activities are on. There is also a parking lot by the soccer fields, behind the Superstore. Very nice park to hang out in. I think the city should put up signs next time, saying the park is closed to grass cutting. It's only fair to warn people. We had a company BBQ in that park only to have to pack up and move because the grass cutter needed to cut the grass. This was very upsetting and unexpected.
