For our experience I will start with the service. The owner / manager was very nice and really wanted us to have a great experience. He checked in on us and sincerely wanted us to have good food, watching our face expressions and listening with interest for our feed back. We appreciated and respected this. However we also had a server as we dined in the restaurant and for this reason they lost marks. She was unable to anticipate any needs, we were not asked if we wanted drinks. When we requested water and two drinks off the menu we received our hot drinks with a lovely container of cubed sugar however we had no spoons to stir in the sugar, No napkins on the table and liquid spilled all down the side of the cup. We had to ask for the water twice. A theme for the evening was having to ask for cutlery. We had to ask for spoons at the beginning the meal, cutlery for our main course, and then again for dessert. And unfortunately she brought everything one at a time rather than saving herself a trip and bringing it all at once. While frustrating this was not as bad as when she decided to clean during dinner. She pulled out the broom and swept. Not a quick there's a few crumbs let me grab them, no, she did a thorough sweeping of the restaurant. Including sweeping the rug at the front door all while billowing dust and debris into the air next to our table. In fact anyone walking into the restaurant had to step over the giant pile in the middle of the floor. This was at 5:30 p.m Dinner hour! It's like inviting people over for dinner and deciding as they sit down to eat now is a good time to sweep your house! If you put that aside the overall ambiance is lovely, the TV reflected the food they were serving and the music also added to the whole experience. We ordered the mixed shawarma plate. The tabouli was lacking in flavor, the lovely garlic sauce that they usually serve came out lumpy and lacking in flavor, we did have that replaced and it was better. The pickled turnip was mushy and seemed old. We were disappointed in the overall flavors of everything we had. Having had this meal at the other Jerusalem grill location in Langley we were very much able to tell the difference. We did decide to try the baklava, however after one bite we returned it. They had not used any syrup to soak the baklava in which is of course what gives baklava It's unique flavor and texture. I can understand wanting to make it less sweet but this was not sweet at all. And the nuts were stale which insured a return to...

The online menu seemed to be missing items as I could not find the option to order plain side pita. Perhaps I was just selectively blind. Ended up getting a lamb shawarma combo with fries, side falafel, side hummus, side stuffed grape leaves, side flatbread with kufta, a chicken skewer, and stuffed kebab.
Food arrived nice and hot, even for delivery I was impressed at how fresh it was. Kudos to them and the delivery driver on the timing.
The lamb was solid. Meat was tasty, they didn't skimp on it and load up too many vegetables instead, and the tzatziki was pleasant, if not particularly strong. I spent a dollar to get their fancy pita and I definitely felt it worthwhile. Their pita is excellent.
Sadly the fries were of the boxed, precut, frozen variety, so I do recommend picking a side salad if you go for the combo.
The chicken skewer was piping hot, dripping with juices, and delicious. Definitely the standout.
Stuffed grape leaves did not feel like they were worth the dollar they cost each. Again here, the online menu seemed lacking as while the description said they stuffedwere with meat, rice, and vegetables or rice and vegetables, they only had rice in them. There was no option to select filling type. They were also tiny.
The kufta stuffed pita was great. Again, their bread was impressively tasty. Very mild filling but the grilled bread had enough flavor to balance it out.
Sadly, the falafel and stuffed kebab were not up to snuff. They were both very dark and bitter tasting, as if the oil they were dried in had not been changed recently.
Portions of the falafel were actually burnt, and as a whole they were dry, grainy, and unappetizing.
The kebab were better, as they had not been overcooked and were still moist. They were still bitter from what I can only think was old oil. On the whole both seemed insufficiently seasoned.
The hummus was creamy and smooth, but a bit mild for my taste personally.
While they season things a bit lightly for my palate, I will most likely order again, as the shawarma and skewers were pretty good. I'll stay away from...

I ordered the Lebanese Style Chicken Shawarma Combo with Saj upgrade, Deep Fried Kebab Appetizers and a side of garlic.
I'll start with the Fried Kebab appetizers, the texture reminded me of a falafel but the fillings were ground meat (I think it was ground lamb or beef). They weren't too bad but I wish they served it with Tahini or some sort of dipping sauce to offset the dry texture. I ended up having to order a side of garlic (extra charge) because the texture was too dry for me. In my opinion these dishes should include something like tahini or tzatziki or something to offset the dry texture. Rating: 6/10
Next up is the Lebanese Chicken Shawarma. The Shawarma had decent amount of chicken and they even put fries inside which is good since that's how authentic Shawarma is supposed to be done. That being said, the shawarma wrap was extremely oily. This is probably the greasiest thing I've ever eaten...greasier than pizza, burgers, fried chicken etc. If you look at my photos closely you can already see the grease soaking the paper wrap. I don't know if this is intentional but they need to reduce the grease on their wrap. The grease would drip down my arms everytime I come in for a bite while holding the wrap, making it fairly messy to eat. Ironically, their fries weren't that oily so I think the grease is coming from the actual chicken. I also found the wrap didn't contain that much garlic or if there was even garlic in there, fortunately I ordered a side of garlic which I used to top off my shawarma before each bite. Rating: 5/10
The fries and the garlic sauce were pretty standard and what you would expect them to be, so for that I would rate them 8/10.
Service was good, the restaurant itself was nice and clean for dining in and there was plenty of free parking.
Overall I would give this place a solid 6/10. If they can improve their shawarma wraps to be less oily then I would rate...
