Update 2025/04/04: The last couple orders I have made here both drive-thru and dine-in have been accurate. The filet-o-fish burger I ordered today and had some customizations was done correctly to what I requested from the order kiosk. The order kiosks are still sometimes are out of paper so I have to refer to my order number on the screen before it disappears and the condiment and napkin station beside the front counter is still not stocked as often as it should. I've still gone here on different days and at different times and there's usually no napkins or ketchup in the dispenser. The dining area is kept relatively clean but the men's room still needs improvement. The sink in there has always looked gross and it doesn't drain that well (could just be due to the design of the sink); it's a shallow basin so if you don't wash your hands fast you might touch the draining water while washing. The staff have been much improved since this location opened and I commend them for that.
Original review: I ordered from the till and waited for my order of a zesty lime crispy chicken McWrap, spicy habanero McChicken, large fries, and XL orange pekoe tea triple-triple. In the time I waited, the order queue started building and some patrons were coming back to the counter saying their order was wrong. I overheard one of the crew say to a customer that their order screens were having issues, which I fully understand is something not their fault. However, even after I went to the counter to show my receipt and communicate what my order is, I picked up the bag when my number finally got called and when I opened it at home my order was completely wrong. It looked fine when I did a quick glance in the bag at the restaurant but what I got was: medium size fries, the XL orange pekoe tea definitely didn't taste like it had 3 cream 3 sugar in it (I order this tea in this size and take it triple-triple every time), the McWrap was a sweet chili grilled chicken with way too much sauce, and I received a regular McChicken instead of a spicy...
Read moreI've been here multiple times. The place says access is from 6am to 10pm. It isn't open at 6:30am here. So thats clearly wrong. I've ordered breakfast items during afternoon which came with rock hard buns. Like you can't even bite through it. Its decent food. But both the guildford and surrey central mcdonalds food is better served. I've marked orders to be brought to the table and had them not even bring it to the table. The eggs half the time are greyed which is not a good sign of the food being okay to eat since those ones are old. They tend to give off order sizes too. I've come with a friend before and they ordered extra chocolate sauce on theirs and mine had more than theirs which meant they had to go ask for them to add more because thats not okay if you are paying extra for something to not receive it. Its okay but the old Scott road location did better than this one ever has. I've also ordered delivery on skipthedishes from this location and gotten the food items I ordered but with issues. Like I've ordered coffees that were supposed to be 4/4 milk sugar and received a 2/1 for no reason before. Its why I normally order a different location for follow up orders. I've come frequently as its down the street from me but I cannot vouch for service like this. Edit: I waited half an hour now for part of my breakfast meal. Ordered at 7:06, a bagel with cream cheese and a sausage and egger meal. Its now 7:40. Staff is actively ignoring me as I wait for my sandwich still. They brought me the hashbrown, the bagel which wasn't sliced in half despite being ordered as such, and the coffee. Then they told me they would give me the sausage egg mcmuffin in a moment and to wait patiently. Then finally, a staff member approached the counter I was waiting at for 5 minutes. I had to remind them I still didn't get my sandwich. My coffee is almost cold, only a little warm now. And the egg of it is grey too. Lovely. Love getting served an egg that they aren't technically supposed to be serving by policy. Take the detour to another mcdonalds location if you can. This place...
Read moreExtremely Disappointed with Customer Service
I’ve had two terrible experiences at this McDonald’s location recently, both of which highlight serious issues with customer service.
A few days ago, I ordered a Cajun Ranch Chicken Sandwich, but when I got home, I found they gave me a McChicken instead. Mistakes happen, so I let it go. However, today’s experience was completely unacceptable and infuriating.
I went through the drive-through and was served by a person named Momina. I noticed the drink I received didn’t feel full. I had only taken one sip, but when I checked, about a quarter of the drink was missing. I mentioned this to Momina at the window, and instead of addressing the issue professionally, she rudely dismissed me, saying, “Get out of here. I’m not going to give you a new drink. You drank it.” Let me be clear: I never asked for a new drink; I was simply pointing out the issue. Her tone was condescending and disrespectful, as if I was lying to scam a replacement drink that’s worth a couple of bucks.
I asked to speak with the manager, who gave me a half-hearted apology and said they would “talk to her.” That’s it. No real resolution.
When I got home, I also noticed that the habanero sauce I had ordered and paid for wasn’t in the bag. While this didn’t come up during my conversation with the manager, it added to the frustration of an already disappointing experience.
This is not the kind of service I expect from a company like McDonald’s. Rude, dismissive behavior from an employee—especially at a customer-facing position like the drive-through—is unacceptable. Mistakes with orders are one thing, but being treated with such disrespect is another.
This location needs to seriously reevaluate its staff training and how they handle customers. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because incidents like these drive loyal...
