They are exploiting international students and both the owner and manager do this. They even make them work at their own ther businesses and pay them $100 for 10 hours of construction work. People like this are the reason poor international students get exploited and then are scared to say anything. Other communities help people when their country people come here but these people just exploit. They have built their empire of millions on pure exploitation. What a joke. Have reported them for tax theft.

Edit - the reply to this review is laughable. I would like them to re-assert that they have never paid employees in cash so they could work more hours than allowed (for international students) AND that what they paid out in cash wasnโ€™t at least a few dollars less than BC minimum wage at the time. (This would be a fantastic admission as it would be a clear cut lie which I am sure tens or hundreds of people could verify). They may not own a construction company under the same name but again it would be great if they could re assert in writing that they have not pulled people from the banquet hall staff pool to work on other businesses/projects and again...

My experience with the management was terrible! The staff is lovely, but the management makes promises and does not follow through after receipt of payment.

On the day of my wedding, I had requested a room for myself to wait while the guests settle in. The owner/ manager promised that a room will be available, but it wasn't. When I asked for one, the manager was extremely rude and made me wait 30 minutes before providing one.

At the hall, there were no chairs set up for my guests to sit. The bartenders were not prepared and did not provide the simple syrup that I was assured they would provide. The management was not accommodating.

My family kept aside the top layer for the cake for my husband and I since we did not get to taste any at the reception. I asked the staff for the same and no one knew where it went. I know that it wasn't served at my party. I called the next day to follow up, but no one called back.

The service was good until I made the final payment the day before the wedding and then it all went downhill. I feel that they did the bare minimum possible and made no effort to go above and beyond. I would not...

โ€‹We recently celebrated our daughter's 4th birthday alongside a gender reveal at Aria Banquet Hall, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Sepret and Ravi, are an amazing management team. Their professionalism and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our event was meticulously planned and executed.โ€‹

The culinary offerings were outstanding; our guests are still raving about the delicious food. The service matched the quality of the cuisineโ€”attentive, courteous, and efficient. As someone who places high importance on cleanliness, I was thoroughly impressed by the immaculate condition of the venue, especially the restrooms, which exceeded expectations.โ€‹

While Aria Banquet Hall may be priced higher than some alternatives, the value it offers justifies the investment. The elegant and pristine environment, combined with top-tier service, made our celebration truly memorable. Our guests were equally impressed, and we are already looking forward to hosting future events at this remarkable venue.โ€‹

Thank you to Aria Banquet Hall for making our special occasion...

I think this place needs to focus on the quality of their food rather than the waterfall and lighting. This is one of many disappointing dishes of the night. The pakoras were completely raw, the yolk is taste like they were fried in really really old oil-maybe even retried leftovers from another day-disgusting. The only thing that was good was the chillie paneer in appies. The dinner was ok-nothing great. Iโ€™m pretty sure the papal from palak paneer was from a can. The staff is friendly but if you as them to get you something that they have been serving-they never come back. For dessert other than fruit, there should be a vegan dessert option. The main hall is strange as I have to cut through the crazy people around the bar to go outside to get food and then struggle to get back to my seat. Really horrible layout-especially if your have kids. I hate it when I get invited to this hall for parties.. why canโ€™t the colourful disco lights be reserved for the dance floor-they are all over the place and completely unnecessary.

Big hall up to @ 1000 persons occupancies. It is located near Scott road station towards Mac Donald. Parking: lots of parking spaces inside premises for cars & vehicles. Our company arranged annual party here with all care of social distances. Bar is the main attraction of the venue & bar tender was so nicely served drinks to folks as per their customized need. Food: Fish pakora & Manchurian were awesome in appetizers but panner items & chicken tikka was okay. In the main course, butter chicken was delicious & goat curry was not good. For the dessert, rasmalai was too sweet but gajrela is the star of their menu. Overall very good management & highly recommended for the function. ๐Ÿ‘

The size of the convention rooms is good: Hall A can accommodate 350-400 people, and Hall B is about the same. There are stairs to reach the second floor, which offers more rooms. Overall, it's not bad. Meals, tea, coffee, hot water, and snacks are provided. There are enough washrooms. The decor has a slightly old-school style for a modern convention. There are no power plugs under the tables. I didn't try their Wi-Fi, used my own data, so I have no comment on that. My colleagues noted that the coffee had a watery taste one day, but it improved on the second day. The food ran out quickly if too many people attended. Obviously, there is plenty of room for improvement.
