Our 1st mistake was asking for a quiet spot. We were offered a spot in the lounge...we were led back to a corner by the washrooms, which we declined. We left the lingering odor of bathroom cleaner and followed the server. We walked through a nicely appointed dining room, with a view to the glassed-in kitchen, comfortable seating and high back leather booths, into an addition that had multiple tables and chairs, but few patrons. We were seated beside a chatty table of six. At the other end of this added-on dining room was one couple. At best, the area looked liked a college cafeteria, replete with sticky, worn-out tables and holes in the leatherette chairs. The server sent someone to wipe the table after we were seated and we were told their cleaner "left an unfortunate sticky residue". Unfortunate indeed. The waitress was lovely and gave great information...the food was good, but the $9 Bellini was watery and lacked punch. Overall, we would not go back because part of dining-out is the ambiance...of which there was none. Paint the walls, consider a chair rail to protect your investment and recover ratty-looking chairs...serve your food with pride in a cared-for space. Next time we will spend $70 in another establishment. EDIT MARCH 2023 After reading this review and some emails back and forth with the Milestones head office, eventually I was emailing with the manager of the specific Milestones. He was very direct about some of the issues, explaining the unfortunate whys and wherefores and then graciously apologizing for the less-than-stellar experience. Thank you...

I visited Milestones the other week, and I had myself a lunch I'll never forget. I arrived at 12:56PM and was seated immediately, by an incredibly attractive waitress. She had sandy blonde hair, and beautiful blue eyes. I'm a widowed man, so I try my best to avoid upsetting my ghost wife by oggling living girls. But, I couldn't resist, this waitress was a total fox.
Anyway, I ordered a steak. It was big and covered in mushrooms, and cost a ton of money. I didn't mind spending that much, because the waitress really wanted me to buy it and I inherited millions when my wife died. And it only took about sixteen minutes to arrive at my table. But, it tasted terrible. I wouldn't be surprised if those were chunks of garbage on it, rather than mushrooms. And the meat was so raw I almost lost my breakfast (I ate waffles and oysters and clams).
I did manage to scarf the whole steak down. But, when the bill came I made sure to voice my issue with the waitress. She was so apologetic, I swear she almost cried. I assured her it wasn't her fault, but she wouldn't stop being upset.
So, I made her a promise. I told her that if she gave me a kiss on the lips everything would be fine.
We shook on it, and she leaned in. We kissed for seven seconds, and I left her a $700 tip. Again, my wife's death has made me very wealthy.
I doubt I'll return to Milestones, after tasting such terrible food. But, I'd be more than glad to see that waitress again.
If you're out there, beautiful waitress, give me a call. I'll take you out somewhere that doesn't make me...
Read morehave really liked Milestones in the past. Food has been good. I didn’t want to write this review but my friend just told me that she went to milestones in south Surrey and the food she got her kid was so gross and I knew exactly what she was talking about. Like I said I have really like milestones food, but now being a mom and I can take my toddler out for a meal I am extremely disappointed. I have now ordered off the kids menu twice. A pasta with a cheese sauce. It was sooo gross, my 2 1/2 year old wouldn’t eat it and she loves homemade mac and cheese. It was not a cheese sauce, it was very thin and lumpy. But looking past that it even tasted really gross, a weird aftertaste. Food is not cheap. Being a single mom, it’s harder to treat yourself and your kid out, so when it’s not edible and you have to throw it away it’s extremely disappointing. Then on Mother’s Day I took myself and daughter out to milestones, to give it another go. Ordered the regular pasta with tomato base sauce from the kids menu. It was awful!!! My kiddo took a bite and said “mommy it’s disgusting! Grossy!” I tasted it and it was like a can of tomato sauce (very gross cheap can) was dumped on the pasta. If you can’t put in effort into the food on your kids menu, don’t have a kids menu and waste the money of many parents. Or put some effort into the kids food, because your regular menu and food...
