Red Baron Restaurant — Restaurant in Surrey

This place has the worst customer service. Tonight My husband and I wanted to get ice cream so we stopped at Red Baron Restaurant. When we arrived, there was 1 couple in front of us waiting for their order. My husband and I ordered 2 cones thinking there isn’t a line up so it should be couple of minutes. After the old man took our order he told us to wait on the right side where it says pick up order. After we ordered there were 3 kids that came to order their milkshakes, and then another family of 4, then another couple, then another group of kids. There was a line up starting to form at this point. About 10 minutes go by this little old lady that works there comes to the counter with milkshakes that the kids ordered right after us and hands it to them. Now it has been more than 10 minutes still waiting for our two cones. Why are we still waiting for that long for just 2 cones? The old lady comes back with another milkshake to give to another customer who ordered after us. I asked the old lady how long will it take for order number 32? She responds by saying the man is having his dinner. I repeated back what she had said. She’s like it’s ok and mumbled something and walked away by that time there was already 12 or 13 people lined up waiting to get their ice cream. And now it’s been over 15 minutes waiting for our cones. So we decided not to get the ice cream anymore and get a refund. So my husband goes to the older man who first took our order that he wants a refund on order number 32. The old man responds by saying you guys are doing whatever around here and have no patience. He was getting mad at us. I then said to the old man that we have waited 20 minutes for 2 cones. He kept saying something and mumbling behind the glass window. There was a family there who was waiting for 10 minutes and they were getting upset too. Finally he refunded our money, and was making us feel like we did something wrong. That old man, and old lady need to go! They are terrible, rude, and has zero customer service skills. I will never go back there. Definitely don’t recommend this place! You guys deserve a 0 not...

Dude… how do you mess up fish and chips on a beach??? Me and my buddy’s ordered there first of all the service was awful. Dude couldn’t have been younger than 70 taking our order kept messing it up and getting snippy with us when we corrected him. 42 dollars later I’m met with the most depressing sad soulless gross freezer burnt fish and fries I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was like a long stale McDonald’s filet of fish patty but worse somehow. The fries were somehow under and over done not even a sneeze of salt. Pre packaged tartar sauce that was warm. Oh and as someone who’s worked in food service his entire life I know for a fact every single thing on that burger was from Costco. 15 dollars for a miserable flabby patty and some wilted lettuce and relish is honestly more saddening than upsetting. This place had the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I didn’t think to ask for a cup instead of a cone when I ordered my ice cream. I heard the guy ask the next guy in line if he wanted a cup or cone and I thought I’d just ask for a cup once I received the order. The guy says “actually we charge for that” I was like “ok, that’s fine” and went to pay and the guy continues on saying that they don’t assume (?! Yes you do!) what we want. And I should’ve read the sign (there are like 7 signs). I asked if they always have this terrible customer service and he said “yes we do”?! What the heck. I asked for my money back and the guy said no, what’s done is done. I hope this place goes out of business. If I could rate this place -100 I would. Dang thing makes me rate it at least one star. This place definitely does not deserve ANY stars. Avoid it. Get your treats...
