Lunch buffet at $18.99 on all days of the week from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm is quite pervasive and highly visible in every form of social media - YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google reviews and so, my wife and I set off on a visit for a Sunday lunch! Our overall experience was nice, mostly leaning towards positive side - pluses being nice location, ample parking, nice ambiance with tasteful decor, great choice of menu, covering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, starting with soups and ending with desserts at an economical price of $18.99, available on the same level all 7 days of the week, with fun food on the side like waffles, papri chaat, pasta, papad, mixture, nuts, salads, underpinned by an excellent customer service. It’s great to have in the team Priyanka, who was very proactive and helpful in explaining everything about almost everything and offering to go that extra mile by serving few items right to your table. Harsh is also good who checked with us often as to how are we doing and how is the food and all. Used plates and dishes were cleared off from the table promptly and periodically which many buffet places omit to do! One doesn’t have time to take a count of 101 items claimed by the restaurant but that doesn’t matter, so long the spread is fairly large and huge, satisfying the palates of majority of the customers. Restaurant can choose to underplay advertising the ‘101’, if they want to spring a surprise in the minds of the customers! Nothing can be 100% perfect when a huge spread buffet like this is in play. But, majority of the items are great and tasted very good! We...
Read moreLet's begin. For any restaurant, there are 3 components, i.e., ambiance, food, and service. For ambiance, can give them 5 star as it is spacious and nicely decorated.
Service was awful. Why, despite booking the table, they made me wait for 15-20 minutes. Ordered a couple of appetizers, 1st was served in 10 minutes, and for the 2nd one, i had to call them to inquire and was told they are very busy, seriously, is it my fault if you are busy and not able to manage. Then they informed me about the tech issue for the reason of my delayed main course cause their printed didn't communicate with my order??? Making matters worse, the lamb was uncooked, and malai kofta had 4 and half pieces( half piece!!!!!)and i was to the level that I just wanted to finish my meal and get out. Their servers have no idea of what customers' service is all about as i was served water only once during my two and half hours stay. While serving the main course, servers didn't even bother to clean the table due to served appetizers. But the food was delicious, and the quantity was generous. Well done on this part, but instead of more curry and gravy, I would appreciate it if they add more real material and pieces. To conclude, all i can say, they need to understand the difference between running a grocery store and a restaurant that demands exceptional customer service, which includes a smile and courtsey words like "Thank you for your business or We apologize for the inconvenience, or to acknowledge their inept service and promise to...
Read moreIf someone wants to take a Masterclass in how NOT to run a buffet, they should definitely visit this place. Heights of mismanagement seen here. Where do I even start with...we called them 2 hours before our visit and we were informed that they don't do reservations on Sunday. But when we reached the venue, the first question we were asked is "do you have a reservation?"
After waiting for 20 minutes, we were given a table...and from there on the circus of chaos began. There were no plates to begin with, when the plates arrived, there was no cutlery to eat the food with. When the cutlery arrived, there was no food to be taken. There were at least a dozen people asking the staff for one or the other thing and the entire staff was running around without a clue.
There was only gravy left in most of the chicken dishes and when we asked the staff, they said they will get it promptly...by which they meant 30-35 minutes. All these pics that I have posted are 45 minutes before the buffet was supposed to end. Around 75% of the starters, dishes, salads, sweet dishes were out of stock.
Even after informing 3 staff members and the manager on duty, we still had to wait 15 minutes on the table, before we were given the cutlery to consume the "now COLD food" that we had in our plates.
When we go to other places for buffet such as Tandoori Flame, at least we don't have to wait for plates and cutlery, which are the basics of a buffet.
Overall, this place ruined our Mother's Day celebration and left a bad taste. Highly NOT...
