Update December 2022 Now that covid is over and this location is closer to us, we decided to give this establishment another try. People can wait inside for a table. Condiments are supplied on tables again. Some OLDER waitresses roll their eyes, roll into a hip out stance, or huff when you change a menu item slightly. My husband and I don't eat hashbrowns so we ask to sub for pancake....no big deal. Very unprofessional conduct from the same older waitresses. This location unfortunately has a huge problem with rude unprofessional staff on a constant basis. Just a few of the staff are very good at customer relations. Food is good and always hot. Coffee is strong. Ask for no ice in all cold drinks as they tend to fill the glass with all ice. Not kid friendly or good for vegetarians. More parking available as the business next door went out of business. Check hours as this location closes very early on certain days. Still needs improvement and better management.
Old Review: My husband and I went on a cold rainy Saturday around 11am and there were people waiting for a seat. The hostess, point blank with a straight face, told us to wait outside IN THE RAIN. Extremely rude and unprofessional conduct. This employee thought it was ok to show disrespect to customers. We will give Port Coquitlam or White Rock our business instead.

   Read moreI typically donât leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share our experience today at IHOP around 2:30 PM. My fiancĂ©, sister, brother-in-law, and I went in for a meal on Fatherâs Day and were met with some of the worst service weâve ever had.
The restaurant wasnât busy at all, which in hindsight should have been a red flag for a holiday, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. My brother-in-law, who arrived before us, had requested sugar and never received it.
We ordered drinks (water, cranberry soda, and coffee), but after 20 minutesâdespite the server coming by to check on usânone had arrived. We had to ask again, and it was actually the busboy who ended up bringing them.
We waited about 30 minutes for our food, which again, would be understandable if the restaurant was packed, but it wasnât, (the time did not bother us it was the food quality) When the food came, it was cold, overly greasy, and soggy. I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for my plate, and the first bite was nothing but grease.
When I politely expressed our concerns to the server, instead of listening or apologizing, she became argumentative, making the entire table uncomfortable.

After waiting 20+ min for a seat, which I understand isn't their fault, we got sat and waited another 16min without 1 staff coming up to us taking our drink order or anything. And I'm not exaggerating because we had plans to be somewhere after so we were constantly checking the time. So I asked one of the hosts for a manager and she came over and when I tried explaining our situation she was in a rush just to get out drink order. Said sorry maybe once but nothing genuine like a manager should. She took our drink order and when I told her we were ready to order she said she'll "go get out server". Which I thought was ridiculous, as a manager she should of taken our order and passed it to our server. She came back with the server and said that our food would be priority once it gets rang in. She was super rushed and didnt sincerely apologize. Then when we got the bill from our actual server who wasn't even the one who took our order and it was the wrong bill.
