Super Pho Vietnamese — Restaurant in Surrey

Update: May. 27, 2025: 3rd time back, this time for lunch with a friend, shared a couple more items: Salad Rolls (Ham & Shrimp, 2pce) $10.99, DF Noodle with Lemongrass Chicken (or Beef) & Vegetable $18.75 and DF Chicken Dumpling (8pce) $11.99.

The dumplings have good flavour but don’t come with a dipping sauce, there is sarracha, hoisin and chili oil on the table. The noodles were just ok, sauce isn’t super flavourful and heavy on the thickener. Peanut sauce with the salad rolls was ok but I’ve had better.

May. 2, 2025: Lunch today was our first visit as it has been recommended by locals and our previous go-to closed due to retirement. We’re happy to be adding Super Pho into our rotation as pricing, portion sizing and flavour is very good.

We ordered our usual to do a comparison: B5 Noodles w/rare beef steak, well done flank (L $15.99) and E5 Vermicelli w/lemongrass pork and spring rolls ($18.50). Hubby who usually orders large, found the large phó too filling for him. The lemongrass in my vermicelli bowl was more flavourful than our previous go-to….and it came with 2 rolls instead of 1 for the same price at the former. We were very impressed and look forward to trying more from their very large menu.

First, and last time....Always looking for good Pho and saw this place as an alternative to Pho99 thought we'd try it. Also I really prefer to shop local in my community. There are not many Vietnamese places around in N Delta. My husband had the spicy seafood pho which he said was average. I tried the chicken curry, and since I'm on Keto I didnt want noodles or rice with it. Flavor of the curry sauce wasn't too bad, but a bit thin. What was very disappointing is it didnt look anything like the online pics, no white meat only two chicken drumsticks, bone in. $15 for about $1.50 (if that) worth of chicken was a serious disappointment. I prefer my chicken to be cubed or chunked, not on the bone, and without the disgusting skin. Live and learn. won't be back unfortunately. High hopes but it didnt cut it. Fantastic place for warm & comforting food- Vietnamese style. My friend & I ventured into this pleasant (courteous service) restaurant & ordered a couple of steaming hot bowls of pho. It really hit the spot & warmed our fingers & belly on a dark & cold night. My friend had not tried the green papaya salad before, so we ordered that too. Good but it was ok as to my previous experiences at other places (hence the 4 stars). However the springrolls compensated for that dish. They were longer & yummier than other Pho restaurants. Kudos for that. Parking is abundant, no worries in that dept. Great place to have a meal. Definitely...
