I was extremely disappointed with the service as I made the order online this morning to have my order pick up @ 12:00pm but they were not ready till in 15 mins later. Also I witnessed the cook picking hot chicken samosa but suddenly it was dropped on the floor. The cook picked it up and put it back with the rest samosa :{ :{ :{ :{. She (the cook) did not wash her hands (so gross) and continued to cook. She saw me witnessing and suddenly spoke with the other manager to close the door quickly. I decided to have a serious talk with the manager asking what is going on with my order and why they were not ready by 12p.m. and why the cook didn't wash her hands after picking dirty samosa up on floor and putting it back with the rest samosa. Seriously she didn't think seriously before take action. I demanded not to take the order because I am not too sure if she put the dirty samosa with my order. The manager said to me "no way she cannot do this" and was willing to give me new order anyway. I was satisfied but not too satisfied with the cook who didn't think of the hand hygiene including washing hands during the COVID19 situation.
The four main things to remember for good hygiene are the 4Cs: Cleaning Cooking Chilling Cross-contamination
Please have your staff practice and follow the food hygiene and safe procedures seriously. I am not too sure if I will return to purchase samosa from the...
Read moreI prefer Golden Samosa's but this place is good too. Another really good place to try is Toyoko sweets. They have veg & non-veg options. Visited the first time to try these samosas. Compared to samosas at other sweet shops in Surrey BC, the samosas at this place lack in taste and are way overpriced, Though samosa size is the same, you get charged based on the filling inside. Tried classic and found boiled potatoes without any spice. The spicy and shahi samosas are not special either, not sure why they are charging double for them. I can understand that paneer samosas are expensive given that you have paneer inside but there is nothing special in terms of taste. They are ripping off the customers in Surrey. This shop doesn't sell beef samosas and there is no halal option for beef or chicken samosas either. One can find better quality beef and veggie samosas at Pak Punjab. The only thing that I liked about this place is the chutney, this was also expensive compared to other samosas shop. Try them once...
Read moreI was skeptical when heard about the Samosa House, just another samosa store in in the already crowded Surrey, I thought.
I was in for a surprise when visiting the place with my son. The place is new, nice, clean and trendy. The interior design gives a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful and of course their samosa.
My 4-year old son was too young and picky for adventurous order so I got a couple of classic samosa. To my surprise, he finished them both. It must be good. I tried a couple of BBQ chicken flavored and must say that I am sold. Tasty but not too oily, salty or overwhelmed with spices, I could certainly feel the texture of the ingredients while devouring the samosa to my liking.
If there is anything I could, I would ask for frequent promotions or package discounts treat my friends with the samosa that I like without breaking my bank.
Good place, good service and good food. This is not just another samosa place. You should try for yourself. Highly...
