I recently visited a charming little restaurant in Surrey that serves authentic Vietnamese dishes from the central city Hue. My group had a hard time deciding what to order since everything on the menu looked so tempting. In the end, we couldn’t resist trying almost everything!

We ended up ordering Bánh canh cá lóc (Snakehead fish Noodle Soup), Bánh canh cua (Crab Noodle Soup), Bún măng vịt (Duck and Bamboo Shoot Soup), and especially Bánh bèo (Steamed Rice Cakes with Shrimp). They really know their stuff at Tuan Hang! I first stumbled upon them when they just opened and had one of the best banh mi I’ve ever had! The bread was so crispy and delicious, and the chicken was so flavourful!

When I went in again I ordered the chicken feet salad and I was blown away! It had a nice kick to it and the nuoc mam was amazing, even my very picky and tough critic mom was so impressed! The salad was very refreshing and the portion size was generous!

I will definitely return to try more items, and their staff is always super sweet and helpful.

Once I buy Vietnamese sausage, I order before hand and got confirmed. When I come to pick up, I got a package with words that they put in some stomach and liver because sausage runs out. I go home and open and there are only three slices of sausage... Another time, I order tofu noodle, and I come in and pick up, and when I return home, there is no noodle. I call, and they said they will deliver the noodle to my home nearby, but no one delivers. They breaks their promise multiple times. I will never shop here again.
