Le Pleasant Café — Restaurant in Sutton

Very nice restaurant. Were a group of 6. Good atmosphere, not too loud or packed with a lot of table next to each other. The waiter and waitress were nice and not overfriendly, which I like. You know, like authentic people. Recommended to eat here, especially for a brunch before the hike:P Also the additional coffee visit was very welcomed. At time of writing this cafe has only 4 reviews, and I feel it needs a lot more!

My girlfriend and I were warmly welcomed by the host, who explained how the menu worked. For brunch : one starter with mocktail, followed by a main. Everything we got was delicious and reasonably priced. The coffee was outstanding.

The ambience is warm and inviting, with a fireplace and tasteful decor. The owner (the one we met, I believe it is co-owned with his partner) was very friendly and attentive.

I would prioritize coming here over other places in the area. We were visiting from a weekend away from Montreal in nearby Knowlton and have been pleasantly (pun intended) enchanted by our visit. We will be back! Thank you!

Ma copine et moi avions visité pour le brunch de Knowlton, où nous restions pour la fin de semaine. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par un des propriétaires, un homme très sympathique qui nous a expliqué comment marchait le menu. Pour le brunch: une entrée avec "mocktail" suivi d'un plat principal. Tout était délicieux et le café était sensationnel.

L'ambiance est chaleureuse et invitante et le tout bien décoré. Tout le monde qui nous a servi était attentif. Nous avons bien profité de notre visite.

Je prioriserais une visite à ce petit café la prochaine fois que je suis dans le coin. La visite vaut la peine de Montréal ou d'autres endroits dans la région.

I actually think this might have been the best lunch of my life. Corn waffles, a poached egg, fennel salad with little pea shoots, and pesto. It was an exquisite balance of crunchy, soft, sweet, salty, fresh, and unctuous. Sublime! The ambiance is amazing, the service is next-level, and the lighting is perfect. I love this place.
