Houston Pizza — Restaurant in Swift Current

So disappointed! We will never eat here again. This restaurant really doesn't care about it's customers. We ordered 2 pizzas and one was LOADED with an overwhelming amount of onion and the other was so soggy that the crust was stringy wet dough - both were completely inedible. We double checked the menu and the first pizza is listed as not having onions (had we have known, we would have ordered without as we did with the second). We picked up our pizza and opened it within 5 minutes of paying, so it hadn't sat long. My husband called the restaurant and explained our situation very politely and they were completely rude to him. They told us that they don't use the same ingredients that are listed on the online menu and if we have a problem with that then we should call head office. How on earth is that a customer issue? Secondly, in regards to the soggy sop of a pizza, they told us that that is just the price we have to pay for having vegetables on our pizza - again, how is that a customer issue? We paid over $60 for two pizzas, which is NOT cheap, and both were completely inedible. It is really important to me to support local businesses whenever I can, but this restaurant could care less about us as customers and especially our satisfaction. I can honestly say I will never be back and won't be recommending Houston Pizza in Swift Current to anyone. I'm so disappointed. We do pizza every Friday night and I was really excited to spend time dining in and trying all of the other items on the menu. Had family here this evening (11/11/21)for a meal. The service was abominable, we only saw our waitress twice - once to take our order and next to deliver our main dishes. Not once did the waitress come by in her own to check to see if there was anything else we needed. We had to call a waitress over to ask for the soups and salad and this was AFTER the main entrees had been delivered. Generally one expects the soup/salad to be served prior to the main dish. When we requested them and a refill of the pitcher of water, the waitress was extremely rude. She slammed the water pitcher on the table and nearly ran away. Some of the food dishes were lukewarm-not hot.The pizza was okay, only average for the outrageous price charged. Got nothing from the manager and the owner except a lame apology and the excuse that they were “swamped “. I work in healthcare and if I attended to my patients the way we were treated, my patients would be suffering and/or dead!! I certainly do NOT recommend this slip shod service, rudeness and apathetic management attitude in the Swift Current Saskatchewan Houston Pizza. If it were possible to give less than a 1 star rating, the rating I would give would be a negative 10. Highly recommend NOT wasting your money and time...

One of the unpleasant customer service my mom and I had today. Brought my mom who visited me from Toronto so we can have lunch together, I thought it started off good between us and the waitress but unexpectedly it got poor with the way we were treated. I asked for a re-fill of my ginger ale and it literally took 15 minutes to get and it wasn’t busy at all maybe like 4 or 5 tables occupied but not a large crowd like under 20 people. Till the very end my mom wanted a takeout container for her Greek salad and it’s as if we never existed never brought my mom her take out container for her salad so my mom said forget it and was going to give her one last chance to give her a tip so we just got up, paid our bill and left without a good bye. Never eat there again if that waitress who did our lunch is there. Terrible service and yes I agree with the other review of this restaurant, place is definately outdated. Better off spending your money...
