Kai Pings Hot Pot and Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in Sydney River

I ordered vegetable fried rice and received chicken fried rice. I let the waitress (I believe she is also one of the owners) know it had chicken in it and that I wanted vegetable fried rice. I told her we would keep the chicken fried rice and the person that was there with me would eat the chicken fried rice and thus would pay for it (as it often comes out of the worker's pay) but that I wanted vegetable fried rice like I had ordered. The waitress came to the table and attempted to closely investigate the rice someone else was going to eat! Her fingers were almost in the food so I physically took it from her hands and used a spoon to show the chicken chunks. Only then was given another platter of rice seconds later that had chicken chunks in it as well. It is clear that there is a mass amount of chicken fried rice made for the combination dishes and that was what I was given. I simply wanted what I ordered. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, again, there was no offer to not charge for the second one, no apology, and no attempt to make amends whatsoever. I will...

Well that was possibly the worst food I've ever eaten. Potential edit tomorrow morning 🙈 Ordered thru Uber Eats, can't even rate it on the app 😬 so figured I may as well review it on Google.

Yikes Yikes Yikes 😬 The egg roll tasted awful. Sweet and Sour water was more like it, so thin, not a sauce at all. Water got sucked into the chicken balls which made them mush. Chicken fried rice tasted like it was made Monday morning(it's Friday evening) Beef tasted like it sat in gluey water all day and the Broccoli was the only item that I enjoyed. Last but not least the Lemon chicken chunks, I mean... Let's be real, it was the same as the Sweet and Sour Water Balls they gave me, just with a lemon base to it. 🤢🤢🤢

I regret not checking the reviews prior to ordering, but u got me this time Kai Ping, hopefully whoever reads this review next hasn't wasted their money at this restaurant like...

I'm actually shocked with how rude the owner of this place is. I'm not one to normally complain, actually if you check all my reviews this may be the first time I didnt give 5 stars, but the treatment at this place was just so out of the ordinary I felt I had to say something. Mind you the waitress was great, I'd give her 5 stars, the problem came when I was presented with the smallest poutine I have ever seen made with frozen French fries that where still cold and really undercooked, I let her know and she apologized. I thought that was the end of it, a few minutes later the owner comes out losing her mind that there was nothing wrong with my food. I was kinda lost for words, and rather than fight with her I said we would agree to disagree, but honestly I have never been treated like that anywhere , ever.....needless to say ill never be back.
