Having been in the Maritimes for over two weeks and eating our fill of lobsters, poutine and other local fare we were craving some Asian-style food.
I spied the menu before coming here and was quite surprised at what they were offering here. Most âChineseâ restaurants out this way would normally be your Canadian-Chinese style consisting of the typical fried rice and sweet and sour sauce.
Here at Super Bun you can order Cantonese Dimsum, hand made dumplings and some noodle and rice dishes. Wouldâve loved to try more Dimsum but we went with an order of Sticky Rice in Lotus leaves, Chicken and Cabbage dumplings and a bowl of zhajiang noodles. Everything was done quite well and stuck true to their roots. Dumplings had juicy fillings, sticky rice was a generous portion (comes in 2 wrapped portions) and noodles were chewy in a sauce that was not over-powering. Iâm not sure if what I had was really zhajiang noodles though, the sauce was not what I expected. But it was still pretty tasty.
I noticed signs advertising a âDimsum buffetâ, might be worth checking out if youâre hungry one of these days.
Rayâs Tips: Follow the signs directing you down the driveway till you see the âSuper Bunâ logo. Doesnât look like your typical restaurant outside. Credit card payments accepted. Dumplings are hand-made...

I absolutely love this place! From the first bite of their chicken rice and beef rice to the last dumpling on the plate, everything is packed with flavorâyummy, tasty, and satisfying. Whether it's the classic pork bao or the perfectly cooked dumplings, each dish is clearly made with care and quality ingredients.
The service is just as impressive. The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficientâthey always check in to make sure I'm happy with my meal and truly listen to what I want. The owner, Queen, is incredibly welcoming and caring, which makes every visit feel personal and comfortable.
The ambiance is another big plus. There's a lovely window view looking out to the trees, creating a peaceful atmosphere. It's tucked away in a quiet spot with easy and comfortable parkingâmaking it feel like a hidden gem.
This has become my go-to spot for a quick, delicious meal. It's also a great place to bring kidsânot only for the amazing Chinese food but also to explore some beautiful crafts they offer.
Generous portions, reasonable prices, and a warm, inviting vibeâwhat more could you ask for?...
Read moreI'm a fan of Siumai and pork bun and I'm very happy to discover this legit taste of Asia.
We normally couldn't find a restaurant that gives the authentic flavor of Asia but this store offers an original taste of what I normally have back home.
The only cons is it seems like some of the product that we bought from the past were reheated /not freshly prepared for that day (maybe because we ordered a little bit late).
Customer service is great, the male staff there was friendly and very helpful.
The store have 2 sets of tables with 2 chairs for customers who...
