My mother just came back from here after going to supper with her work group and consider the prices, you'd think it would be a nice experience. It's the holiday season so you'd think there be decorations and music, but their was just a tree shoved in the corner of the bar room that you couldn't see well and 3 dull table decorations, along with no holiday specials when it came to the menu. Condiments like salt and pepper or ketchup that should be on the table (like all other restaurants do) were not there and you had to ask for them, nor anything like placements or tablecloths. The whole atmosphere was lacking in general. She ordered a chicken cascadia with caesar salad, which she said was good but lacking in chicken. A lady beside her had the same thing and her cascadia had chicken in one part but none in the rest. It was not nicely put together. She also ordered wine, and that was a hassle. She ask for one type of wine for a price she was given for so many ounces, but when the bill came around, she was overcharged for what she got. She had to get the girl to fix her bill. The glasses themselves were wet, like they didn't have time to dry the glasses before serving. Wet glass is a hazard and the customer could hurt themselves. Finally, payment time. She was paying cash and had her money out before most people at the table. Instead of the server telling her she could take the bill to the front to pay, she had to wait while the girl went around with the debit machine doing everyone else before getting to my mom, taking the bill and money and than going to the front anyways. The girl could have just told the whole group that if you are paying in cash, you can do so at the front. Your making people wait and giving yourself more work. This is an ineffective why to deal with large groups. Mom got her change, just to count it and learn she was missing $10. She has to go to the girl to explain this, and instead of the girl going to the cash register to fix it, the girl took 10 from her own wallet behind the cash register desk! So either the girl wasn't trained to use the register to fix the problem and didn't think to ask someone who was trained to do it for her, OR (something I hope isn't the case) she is stealing money from customers. In the end, my mother didn't tip. She wasn't a fan of the place before because of the food being overpriced for the quality it is, and now she hates the place with it's lack of atmosphere and inexperience servers and is never going there again. After listening to her talk about this for the last 30 minutes, I have to agree. While I never had an great experience there, I only ever went because it was where my friends wanted to go. Not anymore. If I could give this review no stars,...
Read moreWe arrived around 4:50pm 3 tables on dining side with us Food ordered was a triple play (as appetizer), spinach dip, spaghetti with bolognese sauce, a small carbonara pizza, and the pizza flight ( 2 bourbon bbq pizzas with Thai sauce base and one pierogi pizza.
2 meals ( the spinach dip and spaghetti bolognese) came out at 5:14pm, the next one was the small pizza came out 9 minutes later at 5:24pm. The 4th meal the pizza flight was still not out, come 2 minutes later at 5:26pm but came out all wrong. The 2 bourbon bbq pizzas had tomato sauce base ( note: the original base for this pizza is bbq sauce not tomato base)
We asked for manger at 5:27pm the Manger named Conrad came over at 5:29pm he was dismissive of the long wait but took the wrong food order back. Through the glass you can see staff standing and talking in the line laughing. Manger came back to table at 5:33pm, said food will be remade the server rang it in correctly it was to do with the way the ticket is printed off for kitchen. Server came and took away the 3 finished meals at 5:39pm while meal 4 still not received. We asked for 4th meal to be packed to go at 5:41pm as we had to leave for work. Server came and checked to see about bill at 5:43pm, brought bill at 5:44pm, paid and then received food at 5:47pm. Manger never came back after the interaction but did give us 15% off. Very disappointed in the wait, the food, the service, and the staff overall.
EDIT to add - after leaving this review I was contacted by the manger who after getting the whole store from my information and checking the camera times was very apologetic for seeming to be dismissive as he didn’t have the full story. He took the time to call and thank for the review even thought it wasn’t the most positive review but it was informative and insightful for him to fix the situation within his store. This was very positive and respectful...

As for the food, Boston Pizza truly stands out with a menu that has something for everyone. Every dish I’ve tried has been impressive, and I highly recommend exploring the entire menu. From classic pizzas to nachos, there’s a wide variety to satisfy any craving. The pizzas are particularly noteworthy, with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. The nachos are a great choice as well, offering that satisfying crunch with just the right toppings.
For those interested in beverages, Boston Pizza also has a dedicated section with plenty of options to pair with your meal. It’s a great place for a casual drink or two while enjoying the food.
