My partner and I were wanting to try this place since we first discovered the sign up, and we finally got to try it today, and we were disappointed. The burger tasted pretty good; he ordered the Monday meal deal.. standard burger with fries and a can of pop. He really liked the burger, but the fries were beyond disappointing; soggy, and not throughly cooked.. definitely not appetizing.. we were also disappointed when we were told we were unable to upgrade the fries to a poutine and would have to buy a whole separate one... The poutine was just as disappointing as the fries themselves.. fries were not throughly cooked, barely any cheese on the POUTINE, and the gravy was salty; we bought a regular and mini... the regular had alot of gravy but the mini literally had barely any, and we were also charged for a side of gravy which we did not order. Over all, we played almost $30 for cold, soggy fries, poutine with barely any cheese, salty gravy, and an average tasting burger.

Verdict: over-priced, underwhelming, and we will not be eating there again.

Just another observation: the price for the "Beyond The Meat Burger" is around $10 by itself when you can get the meal across the street for an extra $2 at A&W, or just the burger at Tim's for...

Drove from North Sydney tonight to get some food from here as google as well as the signage on the door states it’s open until midnight. Pulled in the parking lot just before 10pm, open sign still on and as we got out of the car and the staff noticed us approaching the open sign switched off. Went inside, stood out the counter and picked out food. Went to order and a guy at the counter told us they were closed. My boyfriend said “aren’t you open until midnight?” and the gentlemen responded with “we cut our hours”. No apology or explanation other than this. The place wasn’t empty either - a couple was sitting in eating food. The right thing to do would have been to offer to make us food. We went across the street to Mezza who actually closes at 10pm but was kind enough to stay open for an extra 10 minutes so we could place an order. We like meltwich a lot but won’t be...

Love that they have a vegan/ plant based menu! I tried their vegan poutine and a vegan grilled cheese sandwich. I was particularly impressed by the meltiness and taste of the cheese in the sandwich. They also had vegan chicken tenders and the impossible burger on the menu, and several other options.

My husband said the (non-vegan) chicken grilled cheese he got was the best grilled cheese he's ever had!
