I used to go to Giorgio as a kid so it's been at least 30 years if not more that I walked into a Giorgio! I placed a reservation just to make sure everything goes well.
I ordered the Spaghetti meat sauce with meatballs.
First, it cost 27$ so you would think it's pretty incredible.
I saw those very thin not cooked enough small angel spaghetti or whatever it was, I knew it was going to be bad. It's the kind of pasta you get in a local pizzeria that does a bit of everything, not an Italian place, seriously, wtf?
I ask for a spoon, she goes away and when she comes back, she starts shredding cheese on top of my meal at a very slow pace. I said, I don't want any, I just want a spoon. She responds, well that's in the kitchen! I really don't care where it is, I didn't ask for any cheese!
I taste the sauce and I right away it tasted sour and cold, very cold, nothing was hot AT ALL. It's as if my plate sat there for 10-15 mins before they brought it to me. I taste the meatball? Cold and tasteless. There was white on one of them, I thought maybe it's the ice from freezing them?
One of them had a big piece of I DONT KNOW WHAT, had to spit it out into the napkin and don't forget she's a very bad waitress so I only had 1 napkin. (I used half of it right off the bat to clean the table from the sauce spill I did. She should have seen this and brought another.)
I don't know what you put in your meatballs but ever heard of salt? It's the CHEAPEST way to make things taste better.
The sauce looked and texture was like apple sauce. I was really no impressed. A sauce you buy in a jar at the grocery store is better.
Waitress was nice, but dosent know how to do her job.
The girl that delivered the food, started talking with my date for like over 3-5 minutes about her bracelets. I should have cut her off and told her to ask for her number so she can talk to her after my date because when you sit down, they remind you that you have the seat for 2 hours only.
Our regular waitress comes back, I lie, to her and my date, because I don't want to make a scene. (I say, it was good)
She asks if we want desert without bringing any menu while picking up the "plates" and she asks me to grad the other plate and put it the one near her. I didn't make any big deal about it, but come to think of it, isint that your job? You can't lean over a bit? The table is not that big! So I tell her I'll just have WATER, looking at my glass that has been empty for about one hour. She NEVER came to fill it up. She brought my date her desert which she charged 11$ for when on the menu it said 7$ if I remember correctly from looking at it from the begining of the meal. Maybe I'm mistaken.
Here comes my check (only my one plate), around 32$ with taxes for this ridiculous meal and service and I still paid 15% tip because again, I didn't want to make a scene on my first date with this woman.
Do I recommend this place? No way, I say avoid at all cost. I ordered the simplest thing on the menu and they got that VERY wrong. The service is bad, the water tasted weird and if I remember correctly there was little or no ice in it. It was a hot day, I really don't get how this place is still in business.
I don't want to contact anyone to better your service like most companies respond to these comments. You can better your service by reading the comments and changing. if you don't change, nothing will change.
PS: A good sever is someone who refills your water and give you more napkins when you need them without even asking. But don't forgot to bring them water also WHEN...

Half an hour later my husband and I get our food and they get the wrong order for my kids so the waiter comes back and says that it will take another 20-25 mins to get the right order…. So my husband had to eat (while the kids are watching) because his steak will get cold… finally my boys get their food which was a 14o of filet mignon to share and it was MEDIUM-RARE…. I told my kids that we can ask them to cook it a little more, but it was already almost 9pm and they were starving and couldn’t wait any longer so they had to eat it like that. I had a salmon tartare so I asked for extra croutons (they brought me 4 which is never enough), the waiter got me another four tiny ones so I asked again and the waiter tells me that they don’t have anymore because they dropped the bowl on the floor so I asked if they will make more and he said that he will check… he comes back with more croutons, so I asked if they were from the ones that were dropped on the floor and he says that they aren't the best!!! I didn’t know what that meant…. At the end of the night he tells me that will not charge me for the extra croutons that usually cost 8$ for extra croutons, so I was supposed to pay 16$ more, oh by the way, the waiter never mentioned that there are extra fees for croutons. 8$ for 4-5 tiny pieces of bread????? This is outrageous … we will never step a foot in this...
Read moreSouper en familles celà fesais des années que je n avais pas mangé chez Giorgio agréablement surpris nous étions 6 personnes tout le monde a aimé le service de Elizabeth était excellent très beau sourire la prise de commande a été pris dans un temps plus que raisonnable les portions très généreuses la formule de faire table d hote avec votre plas principale pour 13$ de plus beaucoup aimé aussi bruchetta en entré tres bon vos la peine de payer le petit extra pour l avoir gratiné, les escargots Giorgio excellent aussi deux petites choses qui mon moin plus salade césar aurait été parfait si elle avait été plus essorer et la soupe minestrone beaucoup de petites pâte et et tomate trop en purée et manquait de petit légumes enfin un détail mes trouve important de le dire pour les plats principaux veau citron , tortelini alfredo pesto avec extra gratiné, le poisson ,boeuf braiser et pâte avec boeufs braiser tout etais très chaud et très bon les desserts etais aussi très bon gâteau roulé avec crème glacée, gâteau fromage carotte pour les deux derniers petit extra ce qui est ok enfin nous avons passé une superbe de belle soirée sûr les moi et mon chum sommes venus de BROMONT la qu ont habite et travaillons dans la restauration aussi serveur et mon chum gérant serveur donc tout ça pour terminer mon roman en disant encore merci a notre serveuse Elizabeth et tout le reste de l équipes autant en avant que la cuisine good job donc je vous recommande l endroit une autre petite chose que j ai oublié le menu est restreint par contre assé de choix nous ont va retourner et surtout oublié pas c est un apporter votre vin et bière celà vraiment le fun aussi.
