Souvlaki Bar - Lachenaie — Restaurant in Terrebonne

My review describes the options for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerant. No potatoes of any kind, no salad dressing, not all the meats, no rice, and they can’t even put the lemon juice mix on the chicken to keep it moist because apparently it has gluten. The food we have access to is expensive and mediocre for what it is. Also poor training from staff on gluten as they mentionned the greek potatoes being okay for thise intolerant. but after more questioning with the kitchen staff it was explained there was wheat flour. It’s unfortunate greek food that is usually naturally gluten free cant accommodate those like me with celiac disease as their premade spice and dressings and what ever else is premade included gluten. Would not return.

I usually eat at the Laval restaurant. Today we were in Terrebonne and ate at that location. Always order the calamari entree. It was a very small portion and calamari were very chewy. In Laval portions are double and very well cooked. Same price by the way. Over cooked and very small portion. We ordered the chicken brochette platter and usually I have a hard time finishing it as it’s too big, in Terrebonne, portions were half of the one in Laval. Finished all my plate. Chicken was over cooked and salad had a very minute piece of cheese. I was embarrassed for them. How cheap can you get! Service was very good though. I left a great tip as our waiter deserved it. However, will not eat at that location ever again. Over priced, over cooked, under whelming. It cost close to $200 fir lunch fir 4 people. We left...

To begin, we ordered two 1/2 pound chicken platter and a side. The quality of the food was fresh, but way too little for the price! (Potatoes are not Greek style like they state). The salad and rice were insufficient and they could have been a little more generous on the chicken portion! I am sure the owner is not Greek, if he/she were the plate portion would not have been a problem. To finish, the waiters are under-trained, but polite. There are so many other Greek restaurants that offer more authentic food at a more reasonable price! Restaurant needs to work on the wait time...
