My favourite are the African oat bars! Probably because they taste so good and hardy that they must be healthy, and therefore guilt free! Lol

Lots of other yummy snacks, soups, and sandwiches, all in a comfy, laidback setting that attracts small groups of locals and tourists alike… a cozy hangout!

Coffee comes from Zimbabwe… “from farm to cup”… roasted locally… makes a great latte, cappuccino, or Americano. They also serve a large variety of teas, my favourite being masala chai!

Ashanti Thornbury is, by FAR, my favourite coffee shop! Each latte is tasty and made with love! ...and the DESSERTS!! Oh my goodness! There’s always at least a dozen decadent options to choose from, it makes it so hard to decide! Our girls love stopping in here after school for a hot chocolate and snack after school!

They also have savory lunch items, which makes it a perfect place to meet a friend over a bite.

The ladies who work here are always super friendly and extremely helpful in answering any questions that I might have! I wish I had more hands so I could give this place more...

I love the Ashanti Coffee House. My favourites are the Sandwiches, nicely toasted. Cheesy yummy goodness. The coffee is great and I like picking up a few of the roasted coffee sacks for growing potatoes in my garden. Just get one of the sacks, fill it with 4 inches of soil in the spring. Place 5 potatoes in a star pattern (like the five star rating) and when the sprouts break through and get leafy, just add some more soil and keep doing that for 90 days... and voila a bag of potatoes... coffee sack becomes potato sack.. hows that for a...
