New Orleans Pizza — Restaurant in The Blue Mountains

Update: I sent an email to the address included in their "reply" and after a month, have heard nothing back. They're just trying to look like they're responding to issues when in fact they don't care. Used to love coming here and getting the panzarotti but went today and was so disappointed; I recommend going to the New Orleans in Meaford 15 minutes away if you can instead now as they're still great. This isn't the first time I've been disappointed by their quality, been probably 3 or 4 times now, just figure enough is enough and not to go there again. I guess in the past year or so they've come under new ownership and unfortunately it hasn't been for the best. As another review said, the panzos used to be fluffy and really filled with ingredients, but now they're just flat and burnt with not much sauce or taste to them. The cheese also doesn't seem to melt very well, like it just sticks in chunks and it's not cheese I've ever tasted on a pizza before. It's also a lot less straight-forward to order on the phone now as instead of just going through to the store to place an order, you go to a switchboard somewhere else, wait on hold and then place your order and hope they get it right (have gone to the store later to find out they took the wrong order...) Overall just incredibly disappointed with the cheap cuts the owners have taken and like I said before, just go to the New Orleans...

So we had NOP for dinner tonight. We got Panzerottis. I noticed the Google sign on the counter so came to leave a review, after reading some of the others I definitely feel like people are being to harsh.

The pizza and other items are always great tasting, could the pizza sometimes use a little more cheese? Yes, thats why I gave 4*. The pizza always tastes great though, the panzerottis are so good, the garlic fingers with cheese are great.. have you tried the meatball sub? It's amazing!!!

The employees here can communicate with customers perfectly fine (unlike the lady who said otherwise) and they're actually really nice people. We barely eat here but I can walk in once every 2 months and they know who I am.

Was so excited for NOP as it used to be great.. but unfortunately not anymore. As you can see from the picture, the pizza we got barely had any cheese or toppings on it at all (barely any sauce even!).. definitely NOTHING like they have on their ads / pictures. Can’t remember the last time I had a pizza from anywhere with this little cheese & toppings… but they sure took the time to ensure there were no more (or no less) than 4 tiny cup & char pepperonis on each slice. Same great dough and taste for the select few bites that weren’t just cooked dough. Very disappointing and sad to say we won’t be returning to this restaurant again. If you want pizza in Thornbury, go to a real restaurant as this was almost $20 for some do with barely any...
