Owners are rude and condescending and don’t apologize for their mistakes. Food was cold and unsatisfactory. Used to order from here but after today, I can’t afford to throw my money away when there are tons of other businesses who value their customers and have pride in their food and service.
Update on my review- March 9th, 2024
The owner mentioned they were unsure if I ordered my food through a third-party app or directly from them. They confidently stated that they always compensate for any shortcomings, yet seemed unclear about what those shortcomings were based on my previous post. They requested that I email them, offering either a store credit or a new order.
After providing further explanation of my experience via email and the issues encountered, the owner's response was once again disappointing, if not more so this time. They took some accountability for the missing white garlic sauce but denied any rudeness from their end, simply stating, "We are human and we try our best."
I had to call them out on their insincere offer, and only then did they finally agree to provide a credit. So why even offer it if you never intended to follow through? It seems like they wanted to appear good on the Google review, but behind closed doors, no such promise was mentioned. It's not merely about the garlic sauce mishap; such errors are understandable. What's troubling is how I was made to feel by the other owner, whom I assume was involved. His demeanor came off as short and arrogant, and the email correspondence behind the public eye lacked the promised offer mentioned in their publicly visible Google review.
In today's world, we have the power to choose where our money goes. Despite the quality of the food, if a business displays rudeness, arrogance, and a lack of accountability or customer service, it's a slow fade for me.....but fortunately, there are numerous fantastic local establishments in our city known for their outstanding customer service. I refuse to be made to feel like the problem for simply inquiring about a...
Read moreI've been a loyal fan for years and years.
Here I sit with my 4th 60$ - 80$ order in a row going to waste in the fridge with maybe 2 slices eaten out of each pizza. For a family of 4. Even the kids won't eat it. The dog isnt sure about it either.
Tomorrow it'll go in the trash just like the last 3 orders.
Here's what happened since they opened up in Edmonton:
The ingredient quality has dropped substantially, rebutt how you like but they are using the cheapest damn near dog food quality hams, pepperoni, salami and vegetables that you can find. Its night and day from fort mac to opening in Edmonton and then after a few years in Edmonton.
Service, super fast. But also comes with undercooked pizza. Even if you ask for well done.
Its the cheapest, by about 20 bucks on a 2 for 1. But you get what you pay for.
Last 4 times I ordered here I got the runs if that tells you anything. Family didn't want to eat past 2 pieces. Leftovers went into the garbage everytime. Basically full pizzas.
Sorry Jomaas, used to love you, now you just hit zero on my list to order from.
Let me know when you start buying quality ingredients again. Maybe. But even then, probably not buying again.
You folks need to get back to quality vs making quick bucks feeding...
Read more3.5 stars, but I'll round up to be generous. Ordered a super donair, Greek salad, battered mushrooms.
Donair had a lot of meat considering it was only ~$10 or so (with cheese). The meat seemed a bit drier than the usual donair meat, though, and all the sauce seemed to be on the bottom. It immediately fell apart too. Pita bread was soaked in liquid, and was too small to wrap around all the meat. Not exactly sure what happened, excess cooking liquid from the donair meat? I actually would have preferred a bit more vegetables, but that's just my personal taste.
Greek salad was good, maybe a little heavy on the dressing, but everyone is different when it comes to how much dressing. So not a big deal, salad was still fine to eat. Produce seemed nice and fresh.
~20 pieces of battered mushrooms for $10, good value again, and no complaints.
Overall, I think I got a pretty good deal, but the donair wasn't one of...
