This store had always been good to me. The dirty exception happened today as I waiting in line for my order. I happen see a labelled cup drop on the ground... A blonde male barista, points it out to the female barista working that area of the line. She picks up the cup and puts it back in the line up, seconds pass and she starts filling the line of cups including the dropped cup. My drink comes up, and I step away from the counter drink in hand. Two other drinks are served inside to customers at the counter... I'm waiting for the dirty drink to be served inside as well. But what if the drink is served to the waiting driv-thru line? How can I warn that person? As I am wondering this a male customer steps forward and asks a barista for the manager or supervisor. The barista says 'That's Cory ( I think that was the name she gave ), she's the supervisor for this shift' pointing to the female barista that used the dirty cup. Cory turns around hearing her name. He tells the counter barista about the dirty cup use and she thanks him. He steps away watching and so are a few other people now. He steps back nearer to the till, beside me. The work goes back to hustle and bustle but the drink is not dumped. Four mour drinks are served at the counter... And I see Cory filling a new plastic cup of the same size and drink colour. The dirty cup is dumped and this new drink is put out in line in its place... Kudos to this supervisor realizing that she couldn't get away with this disservice with a line up of customers inside watching. It took her awhile to dump the cup... But finally she did the right thing. Sadly this supervisor and the other two baristas would have done nothing if the male customer had not spoken loudly enough for the room to hear. In the end I drove away sipping my tea... Wondering if I should be enjoying this drink so much? After paying a premium price for substandard service? One thing is for certain though... I won't be back to this...
Read moreMy go-to Starbucks because it's 5 mins away from my place. I literally go at least once a day to grab a drink, (choice changes depending on the season), but right now it's my Iced Caramel Macchiato customized drink.. 9 times out of 10 it is made perfectly, and whenever I go to another Starbucks I'm always disappointed lol
However, I went today through drive though (April 27 11:46am), never ever have had issues before.. but got handed a beverage that was made incorrectly, twice! I was then told to come around to have my drink propelry made and brought out to me- totally fine. But I just couldn't understand why my drink was so difficult to make when I never even asked for the added topping that came on it (cold foam)- which also made sense why I paid an extra $0.20. The drink I order is the iced caramel macchiato upside down with Whole milk, extra espresso, extra drizzle..
I do understand it is busy, mistakes happen, etc. But maybe have some better communication along the team members, because the drink that was to be handed to me by one employee after payment, was wrong, I didn't take it, was then trying to be handed right back to me by another employee + asking if I've paid already. (Maybe due to shift change)? Then made a second time incorrectly with the cold foam topping, which is not what I asked for.
Anyway, I came inside hot headed not understand the confusion and started getting upset. I do apologize for being so short tempered to the barista (Atlas). But thank you for making it correctly & it was made...
Read morei’ve been coming to this starbucks for over a decade now, and every single time it’s top quality. the staff is always great, the food and drinks are always amazing, and especially now with social distancing, everything is laid out perfectly to protect everyone. my experience today topped any experience i’ve ever had. i waited in the drive thru for awhile (being boxing day, i expected a much longer wait actually), and as soon as i got up to the window to pay, leila or layla (sorry, i’m unsure of the spelling) was so kind and welcoming. her happiness and warm energy honestly radiated through her mask and although i couldn’t see her face, it felt like we were smiling and chatting face to face. i have never had an experience like this before. starbucks is truly lucky to have her on the skyview team and i will keep coming back because of all of these reasons. 10/5 stars! please thank her for putting a huge smile on my face and reminding me that kindness and gratitude are...
