Canton Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

Waitress was very unknowledgable and that is fine when she is new but I had to ask her to check something for me twice and she couldnt bother.its like she thought I was joking.they dont clear the dishes after appetizers and we didn't get our whole meal at the same time.the egg rolls were over cook ,the lo main was extremely greasy,the rice was very plain and they charge for soya sauce.chicken balls and ribs were ok the chow main was disgusting. We left didn't bring left over.only tasted the chowmain, and it was yo gross to eat. we both have an upset stomach and headache.i don't recommend this Chinese restaurant 97$ for chicken balls and ribs that were left to be desired and an...

A restaurant called The Canton used to be on Simpson street and it was the best I've ever had. I was at Shopper's on Arthur and saw the Canton restaurant tucked in a small spot in the little strip mall. I had to try it so we did a couple days later......the quality of the food is not even close to what the old one used to be..... too bad because when the original was on Simpson street the owner had his sons working there too. I don't know if this is the same family, but I remember the food changed a little after the Dad passed away and the restaurant on Simpson closed down because people just stopped going after the food and service...

Amazing Chinese food and the best in Thunder Bay!

Their service was amazing and the staff were friendly. I’ve tried the other Chinese restaurants in the surrounding area and I didn’t realize what authentic Chinese food was until I ate at Canton Chinese.

If you’re looking for great fresh food and excellent value then look no further.

Not to mention, the fresh dim sum at this place keeps me coming back! The other restaurants’ dim sum taste as if they were from frozen...
