Golden Bakery & Pizza — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

BY THE WAY I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS ORDER I PHONE THIS MORNING TO GET A QUOTE AND YOU TOLD ME FOR A LARGE PIZZA UNLIMITED TOPPING IT WILL BE 27.59 THEN I PUT IN MY ORDER AROUND 6.30 SHE TOLD ME IT WILL BE 31.06 THEN THE LADY CAME AT THE DOOR REPRESENT ME THE BILL AT 34 AND SOME CHANGE I WASNT INPRESS I DID WRONG I SHOULD OVE PHONE THE STORE AND DOUBLE CHECK WITH HER THEN IF IT WAS LIKE SHE SAID IT WAS IT WOULD BE MY DECCISSION IF I WANT TO TAKE IT OR NOT RIGHT ITS MY FAULT I DIDNT DO THE RIGHT THING SO AFTER I PHONE THE STORE AND THEY PUT ME ON HOLD THEN HANG UP AFTER THE FACT THAT THEY TOOK THE MONEY FROM ME THAT DIDNT MAKE ME TO HAPPY AGAIN AND THE DELIVERY PERSON WASNT THAT PROFESSIONAL WHEN I TOLD HER IT SEEM IT DOESNT MATTER WHERE I GO I AM ALWAYS GETTING RIP OFF SOMEHOW WHY I SAY THAT IS BECAUSE THE COMMENT SHE TOLD ME WHEN SHE LEFT THATS HOW IT IS ALL OVER NOW WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE I AM TELLING YOU I MAKE SURE NEXT TIME I ORDER FROM YOUS I AFT TO HAVE MONEY TO BURN BECAUSE IF I AFT TO COUNT MY PENNIES JUST TO ORDER A PIZZA I WILL ORDER SOMEPLACE ELSE THANK YOU NOW I FEEL BETTER THAT...

Ordered pizza.asked what special was ,told extra lg 15' 17$ something ..sounded good,have eaten slices from here before n was tasty..all franchise pizzarias closed this was y I called golden-they r 24\7.waited an hour n half pizza here,delivery guy very nice , but pizza toppings wrong.ordered half n half,one half Canadian and got half Hawaii n.called golden back,lady who took order in background saying a young man ordered, I am a female,she said I said ham n pineapple I never specified any topping said Canadian,told man on phone we were eating half that was correct n told if we did no replacement ...policy ,couldn't downsize pizza as they have one size only apparently..not very polite or customer service oriented... Not pleased. Told driver would have look at pizza to verify not eaten to reciueve new ..wonder how long I'll wait for...

Normally I don't post reviews but I felt the need to post how amazing this pizza is. I always got every topping on the pizza - their dough is amazingly well made. Their owner (Angelo) is a fantastic owner. The one and only time I EVER had a negative experience at this place was with one of the managers there for which I don't know his name. There was a minor dispute over the length of time it took to deliver the pizza (roughly 2 hours) and him not having a debit/ credit machine despite me letting them know that I wanted to pay with credit. The manager then started freaking out at me - I reported the incident and in the morning Angelo hand delivered me a free pizza. This is excellent customer service. 100% recommend this place to anybody looking for homemade pizza in...
