My favorite place to go with my partner. We love to see so much nature teaming with life, especially right in the city. You really can easily forget that you are in town. We have a blast watching the birds around the ponds, having a picnic, or playing pokemon go. Its one of the few places where I am able to walk and pace myself with my disability, as there are plenty of benches that are never too far apart. It is a beautiful place, and you can even arrange to have events like birthdays or weddings there as well. Will always be special to us.

I fell in love with this park and was very glad I came for a visit on my way through the city! The monuments were all a neat sight to see. I wish the little castle wasn't fenced in but I understand why it would be. The next time I find myself in Thunder Bay I'll be sure to stop in for another wonderful walk around the park. The one porta potty they had available in the park was a little questionable. I decided not to go inside as it smelled awful just walking near it... I didn't want to know how it looked on the inside.

Located in Thunder Bay, Fort William side, Friendship Gardens offers residents and visitors a reflective and appreciative journey amid the diverse cultures that make up the city. Beautiful landscaping with flowerbeds, wetlands and paved walkways give you a sense of serenity. Also next to Chapples Park where ball fields and the arena are available for the sports enthusiasts. Welcome to Thunder Bay š

Absolutely beautiful park; very well kept with a nice sense of community locally and internationally. Usually pretty quiet unless a football game or community event is present, however the park doesn't lose its serenity throughout. A nice area in the city and home to small wildlife such as mallards, geese, seagulls, etc. Highly recommend, especially in the early mornings.

One of Thunder Bay's almost hidden gems. It's a phenomenal park with cool little displays that most people don't know exist. Proud to be a part of THE Pipes & Drums of Thunder Bay as we had asked the Soroptimist club if we could add our own monument in celebration of our centennial in 2012

Had a nice morning at the Friendship Gardens. The trails are well maintained and there are lots of things to see. It is definetly worth going to check out all of the monuments and pavilions. There are lots of benches and places in the shade to cool down.
