Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

I walk in by myself and am seated by a waitress, nothing out of the ordinary. She hands me a cup of water and a menu, but I ask for a minute or two of time to decide what I will order. ”Okay, no problem. I’ll be right back,” she replies. This was my first mistake.

After about two to three minutes, I decide what I will order, but my waitress is MIA. I turn my head to visually search for her, and I see that she is getting drinks for another table.

“That’s fine, I’ll just ask her when she’s done with them,” I think to myself. As she walks within three feet of my table, I politely say, “Miss, I’m ready to . . .” The waitress just walks past me like I’m not even there. Come to think of it, she was probably ignoring me with my cup of water.

Now at about 30 minutes since I’ve walked into Pizza Hut (mistake number two), this same waitress has seated three other tables of 4+ people, gotten them drinks, and served them their food. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there with just water.

I get up out of my chair and tell another employee that no one has taken my order yet after half an hour. “I’m so sorry, sir. Let me bring this food to another table and I’ll have someone come to you immediately,” waitress number two says.

I go back to my table and wait five MORE minutes and a different waiter (employee number three) comes up and takes my order. I asked that my specialty pizza have no mushrooms added. Five additional minutes later, I finally an appetizer.

If you’ve lost track of the time count, we’re at 40 minutes on the clock. On a side note in case you’re wondering, the room was only half full on this summer Saturday night.

Around 45 minutes into this clown show, my pizza is finally brought to me. “Enjoy your meal,” he says. As soon as he walks away, I noticed that my request for no mushrooms was ignored (mistake number three); it actually appeared to have EXTRA mushrooms.

By this point, I figured that asking them to correct this error would be probably take another 30 minutes, so I ate it as it was. The waiter came back at around 50 minutes into my ordeal to ask me how everything tasted when he noticed the mushrooms too. All I says is, “could I please pay for my food.”

“Of course! Let me print the bill and grab the card reader,” he said. “I’ll be right back.”

TEN MINUTES LATER, he returns. “I apologize for the confusion with the first waitress earlier,” he says. Not wanting say something I would regret, I muttered, “Oh, it’s fine.”

I pay for my food, leaving no tip in the process and leave over an hour after I came on a slow night. I do NOT recommend this Pizza Hut location; go to the other two in...

This place is a joke. Came in on after 8 for half priced apps. there was only one guy drinking beer watching the hockey game. And she tells us before she seats us its a half hour wait for food. Me and some friends ordered boneless wings. They brought out one of our order then the rest of us wait ten plus mins for the other orders while he ate. When the other orders finally came, one order was the wrong flavors, and when they brought it out again it was still wrong. On another occasion i order a pizza for pick up. Showed up 20 mins after i placed the order, 5 employees where chatting behind the counter. When they seen me they called for a supervisor without even greeting me, and then went around the corner and contiuned to talk. The supervisor who u could tell was busy rushes to the front to help me. I told her i was there for a pick up and she told me it will still be another 30 mins. So long story short more than a half hour wait if there's no one else in the place ordering food and they will mess it up. And 50 min wait for a large pepperoni carry out pizza. What a joke. Dont waste...

I had a very unpleasant experience with pizza hut today. My friend and I placed an order online and realized it was carry out, so we proceeded to phone the location to change our order to delivery. They brought us the wrong order, and when we called we were told arrangements would be made to get our correct order and be refunded, considering we were charged $57.07 and the original order was $32.77. They then called rudely, saying they were not going to proceed with the arrangements and that our order was correct. However, their tone changed when my mother phoned and then moments later, we received our correct order but were still not refunded. Overall, this was a very unpleasing experience, food was subpar and very unkind...
