Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Tillsonburg

We decided to make a reservation for 7pm on a week night. As I arrived, I told them my name and number for my reservation. The girl at the front said they could not find my reservation but she still seated us where we would like to be seated which was appreciated.

After being seated, our server asked for our drinks where I had to ask for the beer/wine menu. I ended up getting an old fashioned that was 90% water unfortunately. Imagine a hot day where you are almost finished your drink and the ice has melted to create a watered down version of the original.

For the meal I order the NY strip medium rare with mashed potatoes and salad along with a soda. My S/O orders the ravioli with cheese bread and a soda. When the food arrives I decide to tell the server about my watery drink and she pauses and sort of utters an apology. As I begin to eat, it is apparent that my steak is more of a rare/blue. A deep red middle. I don't mind rare steak so I continued to eat it as the seasoning was quite good. However the potatoes were like glue and had obviously been sitting for a good amount of time. The ravioli had under cooked parts and over cooked parts and couldn't be eaten completely. The highlight of the meal was the salad and the cheese bread.

When our server did finally come back at the end of our meal (not once did she ask if I needed my empty soda refilled), she asked how everything was and I told her it was actually terrible but since she never came back, I ate it anyways and that I would like the bill (since dessert was out of the question). She then rolls her eyes, huffs and goes to get my bill. She rolls the bill onto the table and says "I got my boss to comp the drink but I am not comping the whole thing". I paid, left no tip and walked out. Nobody, including the server or the girl at the front told us to have a good night or thanks for coming or anything.

I have never received such poor service from a restaurant let alone a Boston Pizza. I understand that food can be made improperly and that everyone makes mistakes. I would have been happy if they had just remade the meal and the server had actually been apologetic and shown some customer service skills..or even anything other than rudeness. It really bothers me how the group of kids that work here can stand and watch the basketball game in the corner while shouting, instead of doing their job. I have no reason to ever come back to this place and I suggest looking at other options that are just up the street that have amazing customer service and...

Atrocious take out order fulfillment recently. My wife and myself are keen on eating takeout at this location regularly. I used to work in the kitchen as a teen, and know the process and standards.

The last 5 orders we have placed have been absolutely wrong. From poor quality food (literally items that shouldnt make it to the window to be served, let alone be sent out on a take out order) to every item being incorrect in some way. The first time it was sad, and we assumed there was a new trainee. The second, third, fourth, and fifth times, we're not so sad, and a lot more infuriating.

This is the last time we order take-out from this location until something changes. We have spend nearly $300.00 on food in 5 orders, and haven't gotten anything we paid for. The kitchen needs to figure it out, deep frying cactus cuts is literally timed by a button, and they're somehow inedible. Caesar salad with no bacon doesnt mean remove crutons, parmesean, and only mix romaine lettuce with sauce.

Wildly frustrating to spend hard earned money and recieve service this incompetent. At this point the only way I'm eating here is if i come in and cook it myself. Give your kitchen manager a smack in the head, because he/she is failing miserably.

Me and my boyfriend always go to this location and usually it’s our favourite place to go, but unfortunately last nights (Saturday) dinner didn’t go as expected): the food was GREAT though. We came in and it wasn’t relatively busy, got seated in the bar area. First thing I noticed was how dirty the floors were and that it looked like they hadn’t been swept all day. At first I thought, not a biggie, but then as the night rolled around and the waitress we had (a blonde lady) wasn’t busy at all, on her phone the majority of the night ; the manager even came out to socialize with another table, but yet no one did anything about the insanely dirty floor. Secondly, the service was subpar. Waitress didn’t ask us if anything was okay, if the food was good, etc and basically ignored our table to talk to the table seated behind us which was clearly her friends. Didn’t pick up any of our dirty plates or empty bottles, my boyfriend even put them on another empty table hoping she would pick them up but she just said “that’s fine” and that’s where the dishes stayed for the rest of the night.. sorry this was so long but usually I love this place so this was a real bummer.
