East Side Mario's — Restaurant in Timmins

Glad we had lots of time.... E/S is a fav with our family so I know our waitress was having an off day. We waited a while but it was Friday lunch. We received our drinks and bread. This was the only bread brought to the table. Would of loved bread with the soup. Soup arrived but no cheese. Daughter spent quite a while trying to get someone's attention. I ate my soup before the cheese was hunted down. Our entree arrived but our salad was Mia... My wrap was wonderful. My daughter ordered pasta but had to order more sauce as it was very dry. Once again had to wait till someone brought cheese. It was now cold so we put it in a takeout box to go. Our salad arrived after we were almost done. Put it in a box to go. We got a drink refill but by now just wanted out of there. The manager waited on 2 larger tables beside us and had food out and guests were getting ready to leave before our salad arrived. Probably the worst time I've had at E/S ever. PS. because we wanted soup and salad we were charged off the dinner menu. The most expensive lunch I've ever had..... It will be a while before I can stomach going back. We parked in the back by a snow dump and walked out past an empty parking lot on our way out. So...

Wasn’t happy with service the waiter was good but the supervisor or manager wasn’t the greatest the debit machine went down so they called chase the company they use and she came back said it didn’t go through but our bank said it went through I told them well I’m not paying again when the bank told us it went through of coarse the company chase said it didn’t go through they couldn’t tell because their machine went down and couldn’t print reciept we even went to a bank machine out of our way and got a print out of the transactions and it showed that it went through I went back to show them the waitress was good but the supervisor or manager what ever you call her just was laughing it off unprofessional if you ask me it will be while before we go back because she was making us look like we were dining and dashing,

Plus a few weeks ago during lunch it wasn’t busy my kids got there meals and finished and half hour later I finally got my meal, I told them well I need it to go now the kids are done their meals, it wasn’t even busy when I went with my kids there was no need for being that slow, so rant done now just won’t go there for a long time will use the other restaurants that are...

The food was not that bad I just find it lack in spices but i won't blame them for it as I'm a spice lover, but the behavior of staff was soo rude, even the manager had no sense how to explain things, she came to us to have a look on our Id n was being very rude which disappointed everyone of us in the very beginning, the server was not very cooperative with the services, even after asking several times for getting the dishes off the table. We ordered brownie which came out hard as stone n so we asked the server if he could get another one but nothing happened, though the server at last was concerned of not being tipped and called the manager on our feedback, who was being even more horrible by asking why aren't we tiping the server and started arguing for tip which is something I had never expected. On top of that she said that's how she speaks and it's not her problem, she had been working there for past 20 years and etc etc which was bizarre. Well I'm not really sure if they had a bad day or low sales but that was not the way at all..... the manager of a restaurant giving me a lecture about the low wages and asking for tip after such a bad service. First n worst...
